What Will Our Characters Look Like Now?

Judging from what Rumples said, "Magic is coming," I wonder if they're all staying in Storybrooke and if so if the characters that looked different in FTL will now have the same look here in Storybrooke after the magic is done with them. For example: Will Archie Hopper be a cricket again? Will the nuns turn back into fairies? Will Mr. Gold look like Rumples again? If magic does come to Storybrooke will it be just Storybrooke or the whole world?

On another topic: Also hope they all have their memories and if so I can't wait for Emma to see her parents and for Snow and Charming to see Emma and Henry. Can't wait to see what the town will be like towards Regina. Especially can't wait to see what Mr. Gold will do to Regina when they meet again! Will Belle become tired of Rumples strange ways and his obsession with magic. He needs to tell her his plans and especially about Baelfire or he'll be losing her again. Can't see Belle grinning and agreeing with the questionable things he does all the time. What are some of your questions? What do you think will happen?

OUAT: A Land Without Magic Review PART 3

Meanwhile, back in the hospital. Snow has been reading the end of her tale to little Henry when he starts to go into cardiac arrest or something. Snow panics. Will Emma make it back in time? Then we get matching scenes of Emma and her father Charming fighting the same dragon in their own respecting time lines! Major battles! Yay! Or at least as major as you can get on a tv series' budget. Still rocks though! Charming manages to push the egg into one of the dragon's ears while Emma first drops the sword (big mistake Emma) and tries to shoot the thing. Of course she'd try to do that coming from her practical world. Later, she grabs the sword and throws it right into the dragon's heart I presume! The wicked witch it dead! I think. With this show you never know! Yay! Big explosion of...ashes? The Egg! Emma wins Maleficent is down! Across town Mary Margaret and David have a talk. He says he's leaving town unless there is a reason for him to stay. Mary basically says leave. Awww. Sad.

FTL: Charming has succeeded! Yay! Looks like Rumples is his smug little self again. Rumples gladly gives the charmed ring to Charming and tells him to go find his lady. He's about to leave when Rumples stops him. Something is missing. A little wave from oily, scaly, Mic Jagger/David Bowie wannabe and our Prince Charming looks exactly like he did in the very first episode of the series. He's on his way to kiss his girl! A little repeat of the pilot. I don't like when they do that. I think it wastes time. If you're here watching the finale you should have already seen the rest of the season. If you haven't then that's your problem. I know that's how you get more ratings but it still sucks! No complaints out of you if you don't understand something. Not one word! Poo on you! Later Snow and Charming plan to storm George's or is it Regina's castle? Whichever. Time for good to reign! Yay!

Storybrooke: Time for Emma to make her way out of this dragon's den! Elevator goes up! Uh oh. Not enough. Stops just before she gets to the top. Emma yells up to the opening. Nothing. Then...Rumples! I mean Gold...wait Rumples! He says Regina fooled her. Emma starts to climb out. Gold's like give me that egg. You're crazy to climb out of there with it. In other words I WANT THAT EGG! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!! Did I mention the egg looks golden. Golden Goose in the future? She throws the egg to Gold and like those old Looney Tunes cartoons VAMOOSE! He's outta there and Regina is tied up. Shr says he tricked Emma. Now they have no egg and no way to save Henry! Must say I was a little hurt there even though I was thinking maybe Emma doesn't need the egg. I thought noooo! Don't do this Gold! He wouldn't hurt a child! Was he reverting back to his old ways? Hmm. That's a question for a little while later. Thank you actors, directors, and writers for giving us pause. You sneaky people! I love you! Emma and Regina get back to the hospital in time to see that they're not in time. It looks like Henry has died! NOOO! Poor baby, even though you did this to yourself. We love you Henry all the same!

While this is going on. Someone has dressed up as an orderly and just strolled into the psych ward where the Nurse Hatchett woman is holding Belle. Hey, if anyone could have done that...Well, he drugs the lady and oh my! It's the Mad Hatter. Regina going back on her deal a second time was the last straw for Pretty Boy Jefferson! He passes Mop Man and shushes him. There's a door with S. Glass on it! Ha ha! Poor love stuck Sidney! Opens another door and OH YEAH! Hello Belle! Jefferson gonna make that witch pay! He tells Belle to find Gold and to say you've been locked up by Regina. By then I was waiting for two things to happen. When Gold first sees Belle and an EPIC showdown between Regina and Rumples! Yeah baby! We do get one in this episode but sadly not the other. How long will they make us wait on that? All summer at least! :( Later, Belle goes to Gold's pawn shop, Gold turns around and he's like "What the crap?! You're alive! You're really here!" YES!!! What I've been waiting for! Awesome! Lovey dovey, hugs. She says she doesn't know him but he says you will. That Gold! Always a step ahead of the game because...

Emma is now balling her eyes out, bends over Henry, says I love you, kisses him and INSERT LITTLE MERMAID HAPPY ENDING MUSIC HERE! Not really, the music for this show rocks all its own! The curse is BROKEN!!! Everyone remembers! Charming who is about to drive out of town remembers, goes back and reunites with Snow! Yay! Emma is shocked and Henry is happy. He says he thinks she broke the curse! Meanwhile Rumples and Belle are on a hill near the water well. Belle remembers and they share their "I love yous!" Wow! He said it! Sadly it seems that Rumples hasn't learned his lesson though. He pours the love potion inside the well and it starts that pretty purple smoke again! Why can't he leave well enough alone? He tells Belle magic is powerful so he STILL wants his powers. I think he's thinking about Bae. At least I hope so. Everyone in town is shocked and scared as the purple fog engulfs them. All except Regina who has been crying at home like a spoiled baby until she looks outside her window. She smiles then. She must think she's getting her magic back! Who's to say where they're going will be magical? I know Gold said magic is power but who's to say we're going to magic land. Maybe he'll be the only one with magic wherever they go? Who's to say that it's just a reset button? It better not be! Maybe it really could bring them all back home! It would be interesting to see Emma adjust to Fairy Tale Land! lol! Will Pinocchio be alive? Sooo many questions! Such a long time to wait and find out! Would love to hear you thoughts and theories! Thank you so much for reading my review! This was the longest review I've ever done. lol! So happy it's finished. Until next season: "True love's kiss will break any curse!"

OUAT: A Land Without Magic Review PART 2

Hello! She's back and now on with the review! After some yelling back and forth Regina and Emma agree to team up to help Henry! Okay, whatever. Still confused about Regina's love for Henry. Maybe she likes the IDEA of loving Henry. I don't know. She could be off her rocker (what a surprise).. Guess all adoptive
mothers have no soul but like to pretend they do. Is that where the writers want us to go? "Paint a good picture for the little ones it does not." Yoda is disappointed. :(

Back in FTL (that means Fairy Tale Land and FTL means something to Stargate Universe fans which also stars a certain Scottish gentleman) we're with Charming as he makes his way to find Snow. Unfortunately Queenie knows because the Huntsman had to obey the owner of his lonely heart at least a little bit. Queen Bat out of Hell watches Charming in her mirror and does her mojo. Uh, oh! Charming is in her Neverending Forest!   Yay! Does that mean we'll see Hansel and Gretel?! Come on run into them! Nope, he runs into...Rumplestiltskin!!! Hmm. Do you think the kids ran into him too at some earlier point? "Rumples and children. A bad connection it is not!" Shut up Yoda. Already used you earlier! How did he get out of the prison Cinderella trapped him in? Hmm. Possible story for the future. With the way this episode ends I really couldn't say. Anyway, Rumples looking quite thin, wrinkly and truly icky (maybe from wasting away in the cage. Cinderella's gonna pay!) wants to deal with Charming. Of course Charming's like "you suck, forget your deals. I'm rescuing my woman!" Rumples informs him about where he's at and it still doesn't matter. This guy wants to fight. Poor Rumples. Already sickly and now has to sword fight. Wait, he has magic. I should be worried about Charming. What does it say about me that I'm more worried about Rumple than the prince? This show has seriously warped our minds! We get a mini epic sword fight where Rumples is scratched. NO! Oh, yeah. scapegoat. I mean magic. Rumples finally calms Charming down long enough to tell him the deal. He's made love potion #9 and it's from Charming's and Snow's hair. Charming's like weird! Charming asks how does he know anything about love and Rumples admits to being in love once. Do I really have to say who? Charming asks what happened and he tells him she died (we know better). He pulls out the love bottle and says he just has a little left. Now here comes the pretty little egg. Bottle in egg. Basically, Rumples says Charming has to do a Harry Potter Tri-wizard Tournament thing...only backwards. Instead of taking an egg away from a dragon, he has to place this egg inside a dragon. How could anyone see that as anything but for what it is! hmm. If Charming does this Rumples will give his mother's ring back to him which he has charmed to find Snow. Dare I say Rumples could be working for the good? The deal is struck!

Back in Storybrooke Regina has told Emma that they need to go to the only other person that knows of magic in this town. Emma asks,"Gold?" Regina says she should call him Rumplestiltskin! Yeah baby! The look on Emma's face! She knowss it's getting serious now! Gold tells them basically everything he told Charming and even says the rainy day line he mentioned in the past. This gives Emma another quip. We already know you're awesome Emma! lol! Regina wonders why can't she be the one to save Henry and fight but Gold's like shut up woman! She is the savior, the magic, the REAL mother of the kid. You ain't worth crap! Poor Regina!

FTL: Charming has made it to Malificent's castle. He doesn't know that the creature he must find is a dragon yet. I don't think Rumples told him so when he finds out Malificent is the owner of the place he says he's going to need a smaller egg. LOL! Why does that sound dirty to me? Careful writers! lol! It doesn't take long for Charming to find out that this lady can be a real dragon (insert PMS joke here). Thought I'd add that since we're on a roll here. THIS was when the show went from great to EPIC! Wow! Pushing those FX budgets to the max! Bet some movies aren't better than this. Wait, I KNOW some are not! *cough Twilight *cough*.

Storybrooke: Emma tries to bring August into the action but our wooden boy is a wooden boy now. Well, almost. Just his head left. Lucky she got there before his head was gone. He gives her some encouraging words before Oops! Wooden August! Look at those pretty blues! Regina shows Emma where she keeps I'm sure the biggest thing she brought with her. Her "best friend." Wait a minute! I TOLD YA! Go back to last episode's review and you'll see that I was wondering what else she was keeping underground, I'm goood! lol! Regina lowers Emma, sword in hand down a hidden elevator. We get a glimpse of the glass coffin. So Queenie must have traveled down in the mines and got that too! Emma backs right into you guessed it. The same dragon Daddy in fighting in the past! IN YOUR FACE EMMA! No way out of not believing now! EPIC! This was only the half way point in the episode! Part 3 soon. (To be continued)

OUAT's Season Finale A Land Without Magic Review Part 1

WOW! WOW! Can you say EPIC?!!! I'm still in shock about everything that happened. Actually sooo much happened I'm sure I'll miss something. Especially this soon after the show finished! Anyway, can't help it. Here I go!

The series begins with Charming trying to break out of the Queen's prison cell. Not doing a good job at it either. "I'll find you" line again. Thankfully, he doesn't have too long to wait. Her guards come armed with their own quips. "Can't find her without your head" or something. Ha ha. Charming acts all feeble and weak as the guards escort him to his execution.  Then he turns into He-Man. Charming never tires even after being almost beheaded by his own stepfather, switched to Regina's castle, and in a cage for a while now and I'm sure Regina's food is much to be desired. Who would eat from her anyway (except Snow and Henry of course) and who's to say she would feed him? This is Charming we're talking about. He's the smart one! Don't we all love this guy? He dispatches the guards then two more arrive. Queenie's got a never ending bunch of guardsmen. Who can blame her. You need an army to protect a woman who has magic, who can defend herself and keep an eye on her prisoners with her magic mirror. Never mind that. One of the guards has a bow. The other says shoot him! One guard shoots the other! Well, isn't this a great turn of events. Even Regina's guards turn on each other! NOT It's...wait for it...pulls helmet off...GRAHAM!!! Yay! The Huntsman's back to help our intrepid hero! Of course he pays for it when he meets the evil queen later but what the hay. All those Graham fans have to be satisfied right?

Meanwhile, back in Storybrooke poor little Henry is being pushed into the hospital by Emma and the mean. supposedly clueless Dr. Whale! Ugh. What is this guy's point except to be annoying?! The character he played in Heroes was also annoying. Give this guy a better role people! Sorry, that's just my opinion. Guess he's good at being bad...I guess. Emma tries to convince Dr. Sea Creature that Regina's no Martha Stewart when it comes to apple turnovers...although. When you think about it. Maybe we shouldn't dwell on that too long. Dr. Ahab's Obsession refuses to believe the turnover is poisoned because he's working for Regina which no doubt everyone's figured out a long time ago. The doctor does have amazing lines in this one I have to admit because it leads Emma into picking up the storybook and WHAM! BAM! The storybook was like take that for not believing in me! Sort of like the viewing audience! Didn't we all want to smack her around a little to get her to finally believe? Well, she's not the only one who gets slapped around. Regina's has some coming to her as well. We get a short but epic cat fight when Regina arrives. Yeah, Emma slam that witch into that medical shelf! Regina's like what did I do? I just want to see my son! Emma tells her the turnover she made for her Henry ate instead. Boy Regina sure can act like she cares for Henry. I wish it were true but if it were true wouldn't her love be important too? Hmm. I can see an interesting debate here! Sorry guys but I have to stop. Have to take a break and eat something. Unlike our Charming I need to be replenished! I'll get back with the next part soon. Thanks for reading and check back here! Tootles! :)

Who Do You Think Will Die on Once Upon A Time POLL!

This is a poll I have over at Sodahead if anyone wants to choose who they believe will be the one to go!
http://www.sodahead.com/entertainment/who-do-you-think-will-die-in-once-upon-a-times-season-finale/question-2651649/

Who Will Die in the Season Finale?

Been hearing that someone will die in the Once Upon a Time Season Finale! With August and Henry bedridden and in dire straights it sure looks like one or both of them may be at death's door but will they be the ones to kick the bucket? Seriously though. Since when has this show ever been so straight forward? One of the actors, I think is was Ginnifer Goodwin said we'll be throwing things at the tv in frustration by the end of it all. That does not sound good when you start to think of people's favorite characters on the show. Who do you think will be the one to go to the great beyond?

Zorro: Child's Play Review

Intro to Season 1 of Zorro:

Link to Season 1 Episode 18 Child's Play: http://www.hulu.com/watch/315849/zorro-childs-play

Ah the old 1990s tv series Zorro. I've been watching the first season on Hulu and it sure has brought back some memories. This show was one of my favorites during it's original run on The Family channel back in the early 90s. I was a teenager then and I remember that it used to come on just before the Scarecrow and Mrs. King reruns for which was another favorite of mine. Not to mention Father Dowling Mysteries. Didn't think about making a review for the show until I got to episode 18 Child's Play which I've just finished. How you ask does Zorro fit into the theme of this blog? I'll say it's a romantic fantasy. Zorro is sort of a fantasy and romantic character so I say it fits quite well. lol! How does the show hold up to today's shows? Well, you can tell that the show seemed geared more toward children at times and it does have a cheesy feeling  with some of the predictable story lines and character personalities but what do I care. I loved it then and I still love today. Some old shows hold a special place in your heart and this is one them. Okay, on with the review.

The episode begins with Fellipe running into Casa de la Vega to tell Diego that Zorro is needed. Diego had just sat down to read a book when Fellipe enters. Nearby a little boy is hoping and praying that he will receive a horse from the master of the land his grandfather has worked on for years. The master promised the little boy that on his eleventh birthday one of the master's horses called Fire Star would be his own . Seconds later his grandpa walks in with some sad news.that the master has died and his estranged son has inherited the land. The boy will not be getting his horse. In comes the new land owner played by the gorgeous Dougray Scott! At first I didn't notice that the actor was Dougray but then I dropped my spoon ( I was eating at the time). Oh yeah! This episode just got really interesting! He's too cute to be a baddie! lol! Don't attack me! I know he was the main bad guy in one of those Mission Impossible movies but whatever. Which brings up a very interesting point. The original Alcalde in this show (which I might add does not appear in this episode) was played by Michael Tylo. He is best known as Quint from the soap opera Guiding Light and he is another attractive man on this series. Dare I say he is more attractive than Zorro? Yes, in my opinion but Duncan Regehr does make an excellent Zorro either way.
Anyway, Dougray wants the grandpa and his grandson to move out of the house and then threatens the grandpa. The boy by then was sent outside to do some chores or something. In comes Zorro and Dougray tries to capture him. They have a fight in the old man's house and I found myself saying get him Dougray. lol! This guy will always be Prince Henry from Ever After. I don't care whatever else he plays. Zorro wins and places his "Z" mark on Dougray's coat (I read somewhere that in the book Zorro usually scratches his mark into an enemy's face! So glad he didn't on cutie pie!). Oh man! Poor Dougray! As Zorro mounts his horse Toronado to leave, Dougray runs out of the house and shoots at him hitting Toronado! Oh no! Poor Toronado! Thankfully it's not too bad. I'm guessing it's just a flesh wound to the leg and Zorro rides to safety then jumps off the horse, takes his sadle off and tells him to go home. Zorro then hitches a ride with Victoria who happens to be riding by not too far away. Victoria is Zorro's on again off again girlfriend in the show. Even though they haven't had any love scenes up to this point. Later, Zorro finds out that Toronado has not come home. Of course he has not. Remember that little boy who wanted a horse? Well, that same boy finds Toronado and bandages his leg, calls him Black Star, and now Toronado is HIS horse! Cute little scene. Zorro finds Toronado with the little boy who will not give up Black Star without a fight! Zorro play fights the boy and his wooden sword. Then he tells him his care for Toronado will not go unrewarded.
The next day Dougray has returned to the grandfather's house with three men. They're ready to torch the house. No Dougray! You're too cute to be mean! Zorro talks the three guys into leaving because they're only helping Dougray because they're afraid he'll take their homes too. Zorro promises the men he will make sure that will not happen. Zorro and Dougray have another fight and you can guess who wins. Then Zorro throws a will to Dougray. We learn that it was rescued from being burned. Probably by Dougray. He has to read out the will which says all the men who worked for his father gets to keep their homes and two acres of land. Also, that the little boy gets to have the horse Fire Star for his own. Yay! Happy Ending! Later, at the de la Vega's house Victoria tells Diego that Dougray is a changed man. He's now helping to repair homes on his land. See, I told ya Dougray was too cute to be mean! Wish we could have seen more of the nice version of him! The episode ends with Victoria sort of complaining that Diego gets all his action from books and not real action. Of course she doesn't know that Diego is Zorro. Once Victoria leaves, Diego settles down to read once more and in comes Fellipe with another crisis for Zorro. Diego sighs and wonders if the author of the book hs's reading had just as hard a time writing the end as he's been having reading it. He lays the book down and we see that the book is called Robin Hood. THE END!

I think this was one of the better episodes of the series. So much so that I sort of remember watching this episode back in the day. Sadly, I don't remember many of them because it's been so long but that helps to enjoy them all over again as if for the first time. Tell me what you think of the show Zorro. Please leave a comment below! "HIS NAME IS ZORROOOO!!!" :D

THE WHOLE SHOW IS FOR NOTHING?!

Here are a few more things that I didn't address in the review!

With last Sunday's episode we learn that you can go back in time and seemingly manipulate events of the past in Fairy Tale Land! Whoa! That could seriously mess up the whole show in a way! Now if someone could actually go back in time and stop or kidnap Regina's mom Cora before she killed Regina's love Daniel or go even further back and stop the Ogre Wars for Rumples and Bae then the whole show would have been for nothing. None of it would happen. Not to mention we don't know how old Baelfire could be now because who knows what time period he was dropped into that world without magic. For all we know Bae's vortex could have been a time portal and he could all of a sudden fall out of the sky at Mr. Gold's feet in the season finale having just pulled away from Rumples in Fairy Tale Land! lol!

Once Upon a Time "An Apple Red as Blood" Review PART 2

Back in Fairy Tale Land Charming is being held captive in King George's castle. We get ANOTHER step-son getting hurt all because the step-parent isn't having their way. We won't be seeing this again in the future will we? I see a theme going on here. King George wants to behead his son. This guy is loony toons. The blade begins to fall onto Charming's head when it turns into water and Regina makes her grand entrance. King George and Queen Regina. These two deserve each other! She makes a deal with George to take Charming to make Snow suffer. Meanwhile, outside the palace Snow is gathering up her forces. Granny and Red join in and Grumpy has a trump card up his sleeve for later. Who could that possibly be?

One of the dwarfs fires a flaming arrow and they're off to storm the castle. The Blue Fairy sees the signal and brings her hoard of multicolored mess with her. Of course! That's who Grumpy was talking about. Who else could it be? Snow turns into a Xena wanabe, yells, fights, and gets rescued by the pick ax wielding Grumpy. After the big fight scene everyone is gathered together thinking they've triumphed! Uh, oh! More guards! No worry, the Skittle Brigade appears to back them up. The fairies attack the guards with dust that doesn't effect our heroes at all. Taste the rainbow you white clad bullies! Finally, Snow makes it to Charming's cell. She all oh my gosh! I found you! NOT! Just a mirror with Charming in it. He's over at the Evil Queen's castle now. The two go into their romance thing and thankfully Regina stops them with the quip,"...don't want any tongue marks on my mirror." LOL! Good one Queenie! Then she and Snow have talk about meeting where it all began and to be unarmed. That Evil Queen she works so dirty. Of course Snow will play fair but will the Queen? Of course not. This is a world where apples are the weapon of choice and she sure won't be without her's.

  • Back in Storybrooke, Emma meets up with Archie to talk about what she should do about Henry and Regina. She basically decides to leave Storybrooke but have visitation rights with Henry if Regina will agree of course. Regina places a card with a white rabbit on it onto a little girl's bicycle plate. It says Paige on it. Oh, so she's summoning the Mad Hatter, Jefferson! Later, they meet in Regina's office and she brings out the famous hat that Jefferson been trying to make a duplicate of for so long. Boy, Jefferson handles that well. Maybe he's got something up his sleeve to trick Regina? No, he seems to fall for her plan again. I hope he is wary this time at least. Regina says that the only place where this hat may work in the world without magic is under her father's mausoleum. The only magic she has is what she took with her. Oh, so that's why she could crush hearts in this world. How much did she actually take with her?! They both place the hat in the mausoleum and she places some trinkets inside. No go. She pulls out her Daniel ring and after a small pause which shows how much she wants revenge more than her love she drops the ring into the hat. There's only enough power to pull something out from the other side. Something small and she knows exactly what she wants.
Meanwhile, back in Fairy Tale Land Snow has met the Queen at the same stables where she first saw Regina and Daniel kissing. Snow follows Regina to Daniel's grave and is finally told the truth about what happened to Daniel. That's a long time to keep that secret Regina. Snow seems shock but not enough. She doesn't understand why Regina would keep such a grudge over a little girl's mistake. Me too girl. Me too! Clearly when it was her mother's fault not Snow's. A little blackmail takes place when she pulls out the infamous apple. The Queen will kill Charming if she doesn't eat it. This felt hollow to me. Why not fight her Snow? No, she just gives up and bites the apple. Charming seems to feel that very moment. Awww. Love being so strong the other feels one's pain. Like Vincent and Catherine from the Beauty and the Beast tv series. Snow falls and the apple rolls out of her hand and into a vortex and right into the Hatter's hand. Regina has a treat for Emma. When I saw this for the first time I knew exactly what was going to happen. I'm sure many others did because of those darn ABC promos. They love spoiling the episode just to get us to watch. Don't they? Regina cuts up the apple and makes one big turnover! When Emma comes calling to make a deal about Henry Regina gives the poison apple turnover to Emma as a truce. Regina's all happy and talks to Gold about how she won't have to worry about Emma anymore. She used magic to make magic and Gold gets his opportunity to say his favorite Rumple line. "Magic always comes with a price." Gold also mentioned once during the show that Regina has nothing that he wants. Makes me wonder why Regina didn't pull the Belle card out of the hat. Maybe we'll see something of that in the finale. Hope so! Gold looks all knowing again like yeah it's going to backfire in your face woman! Back at Emma's apartment Henry shows up. Emma says she's made a deal with Regina to leave Storybrooke but come back to visit him every now and then. Henry panics again which is what he does best and often. His earlier trip to August/Pinocchio didn't work and now he's got to make Operation Cobra survive! He tries to convince her to stay again and then they see the turnover. Of course it's poisoned! Anything from step mom is poisoned. I'm surprised Henry has lived this long with how much he suspects Regina all the time. Poor paranoid kid. To prove that fairy tales are real for once and for all Henry takes a bite of the turnover. Henry is down for the count. We're left with a shocked Emma and a passed out Henry who lets go of the turnover just like grandma Snow did with the apple.  Will Henry survived to the end of this season? Who will be his true love? Tune in for the finale of the best show on television! Please tell me what you thought of the episode or anything you want in the comments! Thank you! :)

Once Upon a Time "An Apple Red as Blood" Review PART 1

Sorry for the delay. Had a few problems. Hope everyone had a safe weekend and is looking forward to Mother's Day next weekend. :)

Once Upon a Time's second to last episode of the season gave us lots of answers but raised more questions while giving those answers. My opinion now looking back on it was that it had is ups and downs but mostly it was a good episode. We start with a little confusion. Regina and Henry (isn't he running away with Emma?) sitting at their long dining room table having supper. I like how Henry is shown here to wait until Regina eats her slice of meat before he does. Shows a little insight in how most suppers at the Mills home goes down. Poor Henry always in the mindset of don't eat anything before she does. Smart but a little sad too. There's a knock at the door and it's Emma who wants to talk and suddenly the whole town's behind her. Ah, someone's dreaming.. Emma takes Regina and ties her to an apple tree while the rest of the town seems to be about to burst into the song Kill the Beast!" Even Archie is there helping to tie her up. The mob really wasn't that frightening to me. Only one that seemed scary was Emma and that was just a little. I liked it though. A great way to start the show and to see how much Regina is starting to worry. Emma crushes a black, oily apple in front of Regina and says, "Rotten to the core." That was cool. Regina tries to reach out to Henry and of course he's like burn the witch! Naa, he just says she deserves this. Yeah, the one who's raised you, changed you diapers, and everything deserves this. Emma's like here give me Excalibur and off with her head! Regina wakes up as Emma swings the sword at her. Phew just as dream Regina. She needs serious help. Poor little Regina who "just wants to win, for once." That's all evil wants to do is win for once. Oh, why can't we give that to them? Cause you're crazy that's why!

Now we're back where we left off from last episode. Emma and Henry are driving out of Storybrooke. Henry is real slow to the uptake. "We're leaving NOW?!" Yeah, Henry. She kidnaps you from your home in the middle of night and starts heading out of town. No, we're not going now. We're picking up some ice cream at the closed for the night Granny"s Diner. We're going to drive around Storybrook's empty Main Street and pretend we're in Doc Brown's Delorean. Floor it Emma! Yes, Henry you're leaving now! After that sinks in Henry does the brave thing of taking the wheel of the car and they run off the road just at the leaving Storybrooke sign. The Leaving Storybrooke sign should have its own agent now with how many times it's been shown on the series this season. Emma gets a healthy scolding from her son that she's the savior and her family needs you. Blah, Blah, same old. The best part though is when they do return Emma receives another scolding from her mother, Mary Margaret! Yeah, you tell her Mary! Did anyone get a feeling of a little bit of Snow coming out during that scene? Emma needs her mother's advice more than I think she knows. Someone needs to get through that thick skull of hers.

Meanwhile, over at Mr. Gold's pawn shop Regina is acting like a spoiled brat. "Why can't I get rid of Emma   without getting rid of the curse?" Gold is like,"That's your problem. I'm skipping town." So Regina and Gold can leave Storybrooke. Understandable because how else could Gold have found Henry? Why hasn't he started looking for Bae yet? Hmmm. Gold reveals that the curse will be broken if Emma dies. Hmmm. I read another fan's review that asked if this could be a foreshadowing of the season finale. Will they pull a Harry Potter on us? Will Emma sacrifice her life to save everyone else? I hope not. Gold is taking a trip. Where is is going? Is he trying to find Bae? Will Bae turn out to be Henry's father? Does Gold know what's going to happen to Henry? Maybe Henry needs both his parents in Storybrooke? Anyway, Regina wants to find a way that will stop Emma without breaking the curse. Gold's like "I'd just leave like me girl because you don't want to be here when the town starts to remember."  TO BE CONTINUED
