Warehouse 13: Fractures Review!

Wow, wow, wow! This episode of Warehouse 13 really shined there at the end didn't it?. Right in the middle I was a little bored but boy did I perk up during that action scene! Clever little twists weren't they? Well, I expected some things but there were a few moments here and there which threw me for a loop! Also, I do believe I'm becoming linked to the Warehouse myself! Some creepy creepiness in a certain artifact that was shown! lol! Read on and I'll explain! :D

Artie seems to be preparing himself for a date with Doctor Bionic! Gooo Artie! A little relaxation from the fear of being killed by Claudia and becoming exposed will do him some good! In comes Claudia with some major mocking and teasing of our little Artie Bear. It is Jinks, Claudia, and Artie this time They sure are used to the Artie jokes and sooo fast. Barely hung in there! You all rock! Pete and Myka come in and talk with Artie about his jacket and his date and now it's becoming so sweet I feel like they're spreading the Artie jam all over their toast. Eww...but I still like it! So Artie leaves for his date and one might think we were in for an Artie-lite episode but nope. This is an Artie-heavy season and we should know better!

Meanwhile, in Rapid City, South Dakota a priest tells a girl who is waiting for a gift that an old dressing mirror was just delivered. The girl walks into the storage area and uncovers an artifact from the show's past, Lewis Carroll's Looking Glass! Hmmm. This mirror was in the Dark Vault right? Most of the other artifacts that have gone missing so far were in the main parts of the Warehouse. How is Brother Adrian now stealing artifacts from the Dark Vault?! Does he have an artifact in his possession  where he can enter and leave the Warehouse at whim? Hmmm  (POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD). Here's one for ya? Is Brother Adrian even doing this or is he even around at all? Has anyone else been around when Artie talks with Brother Adrian? We've never seen Adrian actually take an artifact from the Warehouse. At least not yet. Also, from what Myka says later in this episode about the Warehouse can make you crazy, maybe there is more going on here than what we've seen.  Could it be possible that Artie himself is stealing his own artifacts and IMAGINING he's talking with Adrian? Just a theory or speculation. Anyways, the girl clicks a camera that says "click me" on it and suddenly Alice is in the mirror and pulls the girl in too. Switcheroo Time. Now the girl is Alice and she proceeds to kiss and kick the crap out of the poor priest. Alice is on the prowl.

Pete and Myka visit Alice possessed girl in the hospital (she was in a car crash because of Alice). Now she's tied to the bed and screaming. The duo enter the hospital room and "Alice" appears to know them. She calls them both by their names. She flirts with Pete and says a bunch of nonsense so Myka thinks they should check out the storage room  instead of talking with her. They discover the mirror there and now they know they have some serious biz to deal with! Alice is in her own little Wonderland having a grand ole time...AGAIN! .

Artie has met up with Doctor Bionic and they chat for awhile and over at the Warehouse the gang find out that Lewis Carroll's mirror is missing from the Dark Vault! Uh oh! Claudia is wondering why Jinks is staying away from the action cases which we know why of course.  They clue in Leena and the trio visit the Dark Vault. More plot progressing moments occur here when Claudia finds that the  empty space where the mirror was isn't quite empty. She finds a black diamond. Jinks recognizes it as one of many others left behind from Artie's stolen artifacts. This is big news for Claudia who seems quite surprised and Jinks seems surprised that Artie didn't tell her about it. Of course he didn't Jinks but you wouldn't know that! Now, I must say something about this next quick scene. Earlier today I was thinking about the show and I thought wouldn't it be awesome if somehow there was an artifact from The Wizard of Oz out in the world? Instantly I thought of the tornado but that was the weather pipe episode so naturally the next idem I thought of was you guessed it the ruby red slippers! Also, I was talking to a friend at work about The Wizard of Oz. She has a picture up on her wall. She is a big fan of the movie. Then what idem should Jinks pass by just before they leave the Dark Vault but those ruby red slippers! Either the warehouse is connecting with us all, people just seem to think alike at times just like these writers, or Alice in Wonderland just makes you automatically think of The Wizard of Oz! lol! Oh, by the way. Here's a little Wizard of Ox trivia. The slippers are red in the film but they're silver in the books so those red slippers must be from the set of The Wizard of Oz and since Judy Garland wore them whatever the artifact does more than likely is connected with her. Maybe you see the witch all the time if you wear them or you continue singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow for eternity. They were in the Dark Vault so maybe it has something to do with Judy Garland's later years where she had personal troubles with self-image, drugs, and suicide. Creepy. We better move on!

Pete and Myka continue to track down Alice while letting the warehouse gang know that the mirror is broken and they must find another way to trap her. Alice finds a way to jump bodies using a shard of the broken mirror. This girl is now on a mission to find Artie! Someone (Adrian or Artie) told her to go after him for revenge of taking the astrolabe. Claudia, Leena, and Jinks look into other artifacts from Alice in Wonderland and discover the smoking worm's hookah was based on a real one that sucks out people's souls and traps them inside. Now they have a containment artifact. Only thing is where is Alice? Pete calls Artie who is on a nice dinner date with his doc and none too pleased. He tells Artie that Alice is after someone with a french name. Can't remember the actual name. We discover that this is the name of the restaurant Artie and Bionic Woman are at. Not only that but their waitress is Alice herself with a knife behind her back! Artie to the rescue. He grabs Alice and pushes her away. Then grabs Bionic Woman. presses the fire alarm and out they go. Pete and Myka catch up and the chase is on. More leaping bodies until Artie decides enough is enough and becomes bait. Claudia and Jinks meet up with the rest of the gang at a hotel so now the hookah is ready. A few more body jumping and now Alice is in the Bionic Woman! Oh no! Alice threatens Artie and his girlfriend for a few seconds then here comes Claudia to the rescue with the hookah. It doesn't go as planned though. Alice tricks them, breaks the hookah and suddenly she is inside Claudia! Oh no! Anyone but Claudia is what Artie is thinking at that moment as Claudia takes the shard and runs toward Artie ready to stab him just like in his dream! Jinks jumps in between them and the shard stabs him in the shoulder which makes Claudia scream! Poor Claudia! Jinks grabs the shard, sucks Alice back in, and then  Pete and Myka bag her! Alice is down!

Later, back at the warehouse, a bandaged Jinks and Claudia talk about their odd situation that Leena found out about earlier. She saw their auras switch when Claudia was trying to reach the hookah. Now everyone knows. So that secret's shot! In the Dark Vault Artie checks to make sure the astrolabe is still where he hid it. It is. Then he proceeds to scream out to Brother Adrian. He seems to continue to say the same thing over and over again. Has the Warehouse drove Artie nuts like Myka says it can do? Seems to be one of Leena's worries because unbeknownst to Artie who leaves Leena was in the Dark Vault too and now knows something is up. It's getting better and better every week people! The End...for now.

Next week's episode looks good. Who will this stranger be and what will she bring to the warehouse? :0

A cool video to go out on! :)

Warehouse 13: No Pain, No Gain Review Part 2

Meanwhile, as Pete and Myka's adventure continues Artie is all worried back at the warehouse and Jinks can tell that something is up. Remember, he is our "can tell when anyone is lying guy." I'm also a fan of Once Upon a Time and make reviews for that series too. One of the main characters in that series also can tell when someone is lying. That would be Emma Swan. Wasn't there a series called Lie to Me which was all about a man who could tell if someone was lying? What? Did that series rub off on all the writers? Why do we have to have a human lie detector in every show now? Guess cause it makes the story telling easier somehow. Don't have to plug them up to a machine to find out. Just sit these people in front of them. Yep, he's lying! No, possibility they could be wrong. Riiiiight. Anyway, Jinks knows Artie is hiding something. He and Trailer (the cutest dog ever) follow Artie to more of those missing artifacts. Artie confesses to Jinks that someone is stealing only the artifacts that Artie himself has snagged. They're on the trail! Someone stole a riffle that was part of a set. They only stole the one Artie brought to the warehouse so Artie uses Jinks to find the other riffle still in the warehouse. It reveals the whereabouts of it's partner and the two are off to find the stolen merchandise.

It's Warehouse Fantastic Muggles Studies for Claudia this week!

Claudia's field trip with Mrs. F finds her in town looking through windows. A particular one in a store where a woman throws herself in front of a baby to save the babe from being shot. The woman is shot in the shoulder and Claudia notices that the woman's bracelet shimmers for a second. She's just witnessed the creation of an artifact. How interesting are these turn of events. I don't know if I like that the writers can now  say anyone can make an artifact. Usually, it's only been famous people and historical characters who are connected to an artifact. Now any regular Joe can make one. That's cool but this also makes me wonder if the writers are running out of ideas in how to connect historical characters and such to artifacts. Are they possibly becoming a little lazy in that department now? Case in point we do have another artifact from the past coming back for a second time in the very next episode (Alice in Wonderland's Mirror). Hope not. I love the parts where we learn about who is connected to what and how. It's fun when it's people we know from history or entertainment. I think there is plenty of untapped history to use and twist to their own means! That's one of the best parts about Warehouse 13. Claudia could feel that there was something up with the woman before she protected the child. So Claudia is to one day become the next Mrs. Fredrick right? We already know that Mrs. F already knows something is wrong with Artie and we all saw that grey streak in her hair right? What if Claudia will soon be able to tell something is wrong with Artie? Maybe the flashes Artie sees is really Claudia somehow trying to save him. This is Warehouse 13 people! That dagger may not kill Artie but it might just help him somehow.

Pete and a nine month pregnant Myka track down the crazy cookie fan lady to her grandfather's house where she has kidnapped Hockey Dude. He in pain because she's wish broken the bones in his legs. Pete lays a Tesla on Myka's tummy and sneaks inside. Fan Lady sees him outside, grabs an ax and captures Myka who dropped the Tesla and couldn't pick it back up. You know...pregnant. Fan Lady holds the keys which have her grandfather's dog tags on them and wishes that Pete's lungs collapse and that he stopped breathing. This artifact only works on people you love because the dog tags were charged by Fan Lady's grandfather during a war. He was urging his fellow war buddy on so it doesn't work on Pete because Fan Lady doesn't love him. Pete grabs the keys from the lady and deactivates it. No more pregnant Myka and we have one former hockey player in monumental pain in the house. Later Pete explains to Myka why the artifact didn't work on him and basically says he loves her! Awww. How sweet and awkward was that moment?! I don't how we're suppose to take this really. The relationship between these two has been a love between friends and now we have Pete saying that he'd like to start a family someday and Myka seems to be the only choice for him because she's the only one who would understand all this craziness he's been through. Hmmm. It's still sweet in an awkward way but since when has Pete NOT been awkward when it comes to the mushy stuff with Myka? lol!

Artie and Jinks track down all the stolen artifacts but not before Jinks almost is shot by the wild riffle artifacts. Artie doesn't think much about it at first because Jinks is connected with the metro thing artifact which wouldn't let him die. Jinks lets it slip to Artie it would hurt Claudia though. First Myka, now Artie. Boy, Jinks can't keep a secret! This calms Artie down somewhat because it explains why Claudia hasn't felt like herself in a while. It doesn't mean she wants to kill Artie. Hmmm. He worries for Claudia but seems to worry more for himself. Is Artie changing?

Mrs. F takes Claudia on one more little field trip to visit her grandson in an old folk's home. Mrs. F is really old which we've gathered that about her a long time back! Welcome to your future Claudia! You sure you want to live such a life? We end with a strange scene with Pete looking at a baby and Myka looking at him. Oookay. What are we to understand about that? Are these two going to get closer in the future or what? Oh, and did I mention the fact that H. G. is still nowhere to be found?! Are those rumors that she's getting her own spin-off show true? Hmmm. The End...for this week.

I WILL be rooting for more episodes like this in the future! Warehouse 13, you rock!  :D

Warehouse 13: No Pain, No Gain Review Part 1

Wow! This episode was great in my opinion! So much better than last week's episode! Doesn't even compare! Where to begin? Each story line has something interesting and I enjoyed every part of it. Even the obvious pregnancy thing. Didn't see it coming but should have. You'll see what I mean if you read further! High fives all around for team Warehouse 13! Yay!

The episodes starts off brilliantly. We are in Kyoto, Japan with a gentlemen who is trying to sell a dangerous feather-like artifact or something. We have Myka and Claudia undercover as I believe Geishas.. Myka stops the trade with a handy little windmill thingy that makes colorful, windy dots come out of it! They capture the artifact but before they head home Myka's sister calls and we learn that her sister is pregnant! Good for Myka's sister! The two girls head home!

At the warehouse Artie is watching hockey which surprises Pete who makes some jokes about it. Right here was when I felt right at home with the show. Their interactions this time felt right and not at all forced. Whoever wrote and directed this one did a great job on this scene. The girls come in all giddy from their adventure and Artie all serious about the artifact. Myka is holding a huge teddy bear obviously meant for her soon-to-be niece or nephew. A few more enjoyable jokes where Artie gets a new nickname. Artie says they have a ping. A hockey player broke his arm but continues to play like it's nothing plus slamming another player through the glass and into the audience. It's artifact catching time for Pete and Myka! This time it's quite a good one too! Myka leaves the huge bear behind and we get a cute moment with Artie hugging the bear. Who should appear then but Claudia of course and here comes another bear joke from the gal! "Awww. He's so cute and fluffy and the bear is too!" Earlier in another episode Claudia made jokes about Artie comparing him to Winnie the Pooh and now another bear joke about Artie. These are so cute and sweet. Are the writers doing this for emotional means? Are we suppose to feel this connection between Artie and Claudia even stronger than normal this year? Well, I think so! This could be just a sweet ongoing joke but will it be more in the end? Just have to wait and see. Claudia mentions she's not been feeling well and not herself. This triggers another fright from Artie and also the too often used flash forward of Claudia stabbing Artie with the dagger. Artie gives Claudia a letter which is from Mrs. Fredrick. So it's a night on the town or should I say day on the town with Mrs. F!

Pete and Myka head to a Toronto hockey game bypassing some crazed fan who gives Pete some cookies to give to their suspect. Inside the stadium Myka meets hockey dude who is a little too cocky for his own good. Myka feels some sparkage at first but later argues like mad with this guy. We find out Myka was pre-med which seems a little too convenient to me. Was this mentioned in her background before? Maybe it was but I don't remember. Hockey Dude has major breaks in his arm, legs, and ribs but someone or something has been cluing him together and quite carelessly it seems. The arguing between Myka and Hockey Dude escalates so much that Pete makes jokes about him being the sassy side kick in a romantic comedy. Very funny! Myka and Hockey Dude do kiss just before the game and this enrages crazy cookie making fan lady with car keys! Uh oh! Hmmm. Pete is in the crowd checking out the crowd and their belongings. The duo believe the artifact they're looking for might belong to a fan. Pete takes hold of cookie fan lady's keys while looking at a little boy. Suddenly, Myka is pregnant! Remember when Myka found out her sister was pregnant? I should have known this would come back. Why else mention it but it didn't occur to me that it would come back like this. It was funny and it brought out some emotions for the duo which were really sweet.

Warehouse 13 There's Always a Downside Review!

Beware to Warehouse 13 newcomers! If you haven't caught yourselves up on past season episodes of Warehouse 13 then this episode may be a little bit confusing. I've watched the show since Season 1 but I have gone back myself a few times because with this series it can help.

Hmmm. There's Always a Downside was mostly filler to me (and not that much of a interesting filler) except for a few plot turning moments. It took a awhile for me to warm up to this episode. A character we've seen in a previous season, Hugo Miller is back. He introduces a new character Brady, his nephew (I also have nephew named Brady). Artie breaks up the dynamic duo of Pete and Myka. He also breaks up the Claudinks partners and does the switching game. Pete with Claudia to find an artifact that is causing people to be competitive and aggressive which somehow has led to Hugo Miller. Myka and Jinks are on the hunt to find an artifact that takes people's pain and sickness away. Interesting how Jink and Claudia complain about being separated. Awww. They want to be close. Well, we do know that Jinks is worried about Claudia. Don't think he wanted to have her out of his sight since whatever happens to him she feel now. He has so far kept this a secret. When Jinks is told that him and Myka must find such an artifact that takes pain away he objects to this at first. We can see that Jinks really wants to somehow take Claudia's pain away so this was hitting a little too close to home for him.

Anyway, with the new partners together, Pete and Claudia meet up with Hugo Miller and his nephew Brady. We learn about a bunch of magic marbles that are making the one who keeps them in their possession for too long dangerously aggressive. Hugo gave some of these marbles to Brady. A foolish thing on Hugo's part I might add even if he was training him to be a Warehouse agent. Hope Hugo doesn't need to go back to the loony bin like one part of his essence was for a decade or more. Brady gave four of these marbles to four of his friends and so the hunt is on to track these down before people get hurt.

Myka and Jinks head to New Orleans to track down the pain taking away artifact and it leads them to  a pretty cool antique looking bar. They meet a bartender, a girl who is in love with a sickly blues player. The team a little too quickly puts together the fact that the horn player's sickness is connected to everyone else being well.

Meanwhile, Artie has another visit from Brother Adrian (yay, I remembered his name!) and we have a little plot changing moment in what was a sort of weak episode for this week. Adrian brought a bogus object that is supose to help them find the astrolabe. Artie uses another artifact to melt this object while he has Adrian close his eyes and focus on the astrolabe  Adrian tricked Artie with this object. It was a fake and now he knows it's Artie who has what he's looking for. An argument begins between the two and it's clear that Artie doesn't want to give up the astrolabe. Adrian asks him how can the world be protected from the evil Artie has made. It beginning to look like Artie may be this season's unwilling or willing villain!

Jinks talks to the horn player and the horn player begins to take away Jinks' pain which at the same moment Claudia who's with Hugo begins to choke. Jinks screams to the horn player that he's choking Claudia and Myka hears him. Myka breaks up the moment and we find out it's a cursed cigarette holder. Myka is upset that Jinks hasn't told Claudia yet.

Pete and Claudia track down all the marbles except one which is in the possession of a school principal. He wants to hurt a gym full of students. With the help of the last marble, Pete saves the day. Claudia has a talk with Hugo about Brady becoming a future warehouse agent and the gang all come back together at the warehouse.

Artie finds out that the marbles were an artifact that was suppose to already be in the warehouse. He now thinks someone is trying to undo all his work. On to next week.

This episode wore on in the middle and took forever to get to a certain point. I was mostly waiting for the moment when Jinks got hurt and Claudia felt it. It finally somewhat delivered in that but I am now waiting for a better episode for next week.

Side note: The guy who played the horn player looked so familiar. I know I've seen him somewhere but can't  remember where. Anyone out there know?

A Little About Me: Why I Loved Growing Up in the 80s!

                                                      Bring Back the 80s video

                                    Me age: 3 in 1982

Hmmm. The 80s. Even today it sometimes feels strange to think that time period was 20 to 30 years ago! Back then it was the moment, youthful and carefree for children growing up during this time. I for one was born in 1979. I was 10 years old in 1989. Most of my childhood was in the 80s. There are moments that stick in your mind when thinking back at your childhood. Also, those moments where you think you don't remember until you see an old toy, movie, song, or just a picture you haven't seen in forever and suddenly you're right back there. Feeling that moment you first played with a gooey, plastic octopus and threw it onto the fridge to watch it slowly crawl down until it unstuck and fell to the floor. Even your parents thought they were icky and gross but sort of cool! Well, I know my mother did.

Now I know this is a science fiction, fantasy, and romance blog and believe me the 80s had plenty of all three! As a little girl growing up in the 80s I saw the likes of Transformer toys, great music, E.T. the Extra-terrestrial(a little later from when it first came out because I was only 3 at the time of it's theatrical release),The Neverending Story, The Princess Bride, Back to the Future (which I actually got to see at least one or two of this trilogy series in the actual theater), teased hair, colorful clothes...well colorful everything. Not to mention Nintendo with Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. My cousin had this game and I guess I was a little envious of her but I do remember playing a few times on it and it was awesome. Well, for a kid of that time that is.

Me age: 6 with Shawn my brother in 1985

When I was 5 years old back in 1984, my mom's boyfriend gave me four or five big, toy race cars. One of them had the Mountain Dew logo on it and I loved them! Tony, my mom's boyfriend was afraid I wouldn't like them because I was a girl. Well, back then us 80s girls weren't all girly girls. Well, at least I wasn't. If it was a cool toy I loved it. Didn't matter if it was for boys or girls. Actually, I think I loved boys toys at that age more than girl's toys personally but I really liked basically any toy that could spark my imagination. When I was six I had a bucket of Cowboys and Indians. They were yellow and red but those little guys were by far not the the only things in the bucket. Probably some Happy Meal toys, army men, Bambi toys, etc. I'd imagine elaborate adventures with them all the time but mostly they'd end up fighting in some good vs. evil battle or fall in love and get married.  I could spend hours with those toys. I also had a purple, banana seat bicycle! It had purple flares on each handlebar and little beads on the wheels. It was my first bike and I learned how to ride on it. I'd fall and hurt my knee and run to mom and she'd say just go back out there and try again and that's exactly what I did. One of my neighbors had a huge box of original Transformers! Oh my gosh! Those were so fun to play with! They really could change from a robot into something else. I've wondered whatever became of those toys and if my neighbor ever cashed them in. LOL! They might be worth something by now if they're not in too bad of shape. Of course I had Barbies and a Cabbage Patch Doll. Always wanted a Barbie Dreamhouse and car but never got one.

There was another time before my little brother was born when my mother and I would go to game rooms. I was five years old and I remember particularly one place that was filled with pool tables in the big front room but in the very back was a room filled with arcade machines. I wanted to play pool like my mom but she said I was too young so while she played pool with her friends I walked into the arcade room. I distinctly remember the song The Heat is On from Beverly Hills Cop playing in the big speakers at the front of the room. I didn't have any quarters but I would walk up to the machines and pretend I was playing them. I remember the Tron game, Donkey Kong, and one where a man is swinging from vines with alligators trying to eat him from below. That one was my favorite. I wanted to play that thing sooo bad! The first time I heard The Beverly Hills Cop Theme Song was when I was over at a relative's house playing with some children in a driveway. One of the older boys I think had a boom box outside and he was blasting the song.  I was also exposed to 80s country music back in the day because of my baby sitter. Every time I went out with her she'd have the radio playing on the country music station. I still love classic 80s country and 80s pop music to this day.

Play Donkey Kong for free here: http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/80s_games/donkeykong.htm

I think the first time I ever saw E.T. the Extra-terrestrial I was with my babysitter. I LOVED it so much! Seen it so many times since and every time I do watch it I get a craving for you guess it...Reese Pieces! It was so strange watching that brown, long fingered hand picking up the candy and hearing that crunching sound. Boy, did thye know how to advertise! The first time I saw the Gremlins I fell in love with Gizmo and I remember looking and listening to on of the Gremlins children's books on tape. You know the ones that used to start "This is the story of The Gremlins. You can read along with me in your book. You will know when it's time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this." Well, with the Gremlins book it was probably Gizmo saying Bright Light! lol! I've cried with Bastion and Atreu from The Neverending Story and often wondered if they'd EVER make another film. Sadly, they did. Two more times but they were awful. I loved Fred Savage in The Princess Bride and the love of Wesley and Buttercup. We still think of this film and grin whenever someone says "As you wish." Hulk Hogan and of course Andre the Giant were awesome! I think I did watch a little wrestling back in the day mainly because of these two. To actually watch Back to the Future in the theaters is an experience one NEVER forgets. You have no idea how popular this show was unless you actually experienced it.

Wow! This is the actual book I used to have! Here is Part 1 of the story!

I remember selling colored wrist bands to people for a quarter when I was 10 years old. I remember listening to New Kids on the Block and playing with all five of their dolls over at my cousin's house. Believe me, she was a fanatic when it came to that band. She had the covers, curtains, dolls, posters, and etc. I remember watching Moonlighting and hanging out at one of my friends' houses who's bedroom was filled with heavy metal hair band posters! She introduced me to David Bowie as the Troll King in Labyrinth and I will be forever thankful to her for that! Still love that movie to this day! See, kids of the 2000s and up, we didn't have the internet but we did have fun! I'm 32 years old now and I know many of us 80s children have children of their own now. I may not be one of them but for those that do when you tuck in your child with their new little Glow Worms of today, tell them we had one too but we also had David Bowie. There are somethings your children may never understand about us because the 80s were special and some of those 80s days should remain a mystery if only for the nostalgia of it all! :)

In my opinion the best Labyrinth music video on YouTube! Right here

Warehouse 13 Personal Effects Review!

Okay, here we are again. This one was not the best by a long shot but it wasn't the worst either. I now see the use of why Jinks was brought back. Everyone can be paired off now. Also liked the fact that Leena seems to be having more airtime in this season already than all the others put together...except for the that MacPherson story line but even so. Personally, I like to see Claudia and Artie together better than Jinks and Claudia but Claudinks has it's own thing going too. Hmmm. Leena and Jinks as partners could be an idea for sometime later. Maybe soon. Okay, lets really get down to the artifacts biz!

Well, it appears that we're STILL not through with Sykes and it comes to knowledge that this wheelchair bound dude was carrying a very, tiny version of a warehouse in one of his spare houses. Ugh, how many places and artifacts did this guy own? If he had that many artifacts at his disposal the warehouse and everyone should be gone now with no possibility of bringing it back?! Ugh! Actually it just a box of artifacts...THAT CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND DEADLY! Pete and Myka are on the hunt! Only one little snafu. Someone has already broken into Sykes' house and stole them all. I see a major artifact treasure hunt on the way! Well sort of.

The guy in question has brought all the artifacts to a pawn shop of course. Oh, and taking into account what Pete and Claudia say later about pawn shop tv shows,  wouldn't it be so funny to watch a spoofed episode where a patron tries to sell one of these artifacts, suddenly the thing turns someone into a beast or something and the price goes way up? Well, that doesn't happen here. The pawn guy thinks it's junk and our mystery guy sells all of it except a strange white pipe which can alter the weather. Oh so that's the reason for all our strange weather here in the States! Thought it was that Walter guy from The X-Files. Well, Pete and Myka find out from a dumpy guy who loves tomatoes that our mystery man sold most of the stuff to a pawn shop. Explosion at pawn shop and now the gang's all here.

Artie makes a list of all the artifacts that were sold from the pawn shop, tears off pieces it, and gives them to all three pairs. Pete and Myka on the pipe trail, Claudia and Jinks on the sunglasses, bird cage, and waffle iron trail, and Artie and Leena on the violin and golf clubs trail. I sort of like that we have three separate story lines going for this episode and sort of didn't. It can be kind of complicated if you don't hang onto every piece of info that we're given. Again I really didn't like the main artifact story. The pipe was too much of an already done story line from other tv shows. Like that X-Files episode I mentioned earlier. Out of all of these artifacts the best ones were the golf club because that one moved the ongoing plot of this season forward and the bird cage one which also moved the main story forward. I'm a little worried about that. Not too much yet but just a little. The main story is great but the smaller story lines need to be at least almost as interesting and so far they haven't come close in this season.

Jinks and Claudia go after invisible sunglasses man and have a few jokes thrown in while they're doing it. The   Ghostbusters line from Claudia and the Revenge quip from the store lady was cute. Who actually watches Revenge anyway?! Sadly, not me. Sorry to all those Revenge fans out there! If I'm not mistaken Jinks is hit in the shoulder by "Hollow Man" before they catch him. Claudia complains a little about her arm. UH OH! SIDE EFFECT!  Later Claudinks go after the bird cage with some strained comic effect and Claudia feels Jinks' bird attack! Creepy! Are we going to see a future Jinks all icky and bloody but feeling just fine while Claudia is down for the count in some hospital?! That's could be interesting. I don't know how yet but could that stuff with Claudia stabbing Artie with the dagger somehow be connected to keeping Jinks and herself alive? How far would she really go? Would she kill one friend to save another? As Artie once said she shouldn't go down that path!

Artie and Leena go after a violin and get out of an awkward situation by saying they're from disease control or something. "Wash  your hands." lol! Artie's other joke here is walking a fine line. Later they go after a gold club that brings out anger in whoever holds it. This was interesting because Artie lets some things slip when he has his hands on it! Poor Artie. He wants so bad to tell people but that's exactly what he was told not to do? We're always wanting to do exactly what we're told not to do? Hmmm. Could that be some reverse psychology our friend Data is working on our lovely Artie? Leena is worried and Artie of course quickly shrugs it off once the artifact is deactivated.

Meanwhile, after a mishap with a bank truck, Pete and Myka follow Pipe Guy to the hospital and we find out Pipe Guy has a little brother with a heart infection. He stole money from a bank so the hospital could perform surgery on his brother. He kidnaps Dr. Mom From E. T. the Extraterrestrial up to the roof of the hospital and tries to take hospital and all to the Land of Oz! Too late for surgery for his brother he needs a heart that's "a complete match" but of course Pipe Guy's  not listening. A little invisible action from the Pete the sunglasses wearer and some quick thinking from Myka because Pete almost screws it up of course and at least the weather crisis is averted. Myka finally pushes the message through the Weather Boy's thick skull about his brother and what does he do next? He grabs the pipe one more time and kills himself so his brother can take his heart and live. Now, who saw this coming a mile away?! Another predictable ending. Ugh. Later, Claudia, Jinks, Myka and Pete go after the last artifact on the list, the waffle iron but sadly the camera guy is left behind during this adventure. Darn! We're all missing out! Who else wanted some waffle action?

Back at the warehouse Artie secretly calls some stranger to help him find an artifact "before it finds him." What could that be? The Dagger of course!

Oh, and isn't Trailer the smartest and cutest dog EVER?! :D The End and onto to next week!

New Beauty and the Beast TV Series Trailer!

The CW has a new series loosely based upon the 80s tv series Beauty and the Beast coming this fall! Very loosely based. It has characters named Catherine Chandler and a guy name Vincent Keller. Other than that it has a more updated twisted storyline. If they have tunnel dwellers in this series like the old ones I'll be surprised. Check out the trailer here:

LOOK WHO'S COMING TO STORYBROOKE!!!

We'll be having a new character in the next season and it looks like Storybrooke is still here so that settles the theories about WHERE they'll be going I presume. Well, maybe!
