10 TV/Movie Couples: 4 and 3

4. Marty Claridge and Clark Davis from the Love Comes Softly movie

The best movie of the Love Come Softly series from Janette Oke is one of the most sweetest and enduring romantic stories I've seen. Marty Claridge is a woman newly married and making her way to a new place with her new husband to start a family. Sadly tragedy strikes when her husband dies while chasing a runaway horse. Now Marty is alone and in a strange place in the west during the 1800s. In that time a woman all alone in a place like that would surely mean danger and possibly death. A man named Clark Davis gives Marty a proposition. Marry him and help him with his little girl until the spring where she can then take a train and go back to her original home. During that time Marty learns a new way of life and a new way of loving. Clark Davis is a good, christian man who teaches Marty how to pick up her life and start again. They slowly begin to fall in love with each other and Marty comes to accept and be happy with her new family.

Clark Davis is played by the charming Dale Midkiff. He gives such a heartwarming and genuine performance of a man who lost his first wife and has now had to raise his young daughter alone. Marty is played by the lovely Katherine Heigl and she also gives a genuine and sweet performance of a woman who has lost everything and must take a step into a brave, new and sometime frightening world. This is a Christian based story that teaches a good lesson but also plays out the romance of the film just as well. I would recommend this to anyone who has a love of period romances. This is one that is not to be missed!

3. Maria and Captain Von Trapp from The Sound of Music

Yes, another musical which is just as great as the other one in my opinion. Also, this one was based on true events! Maria is a sorta nun-in-training but she can't keep her head out of the clouds. So her Mother Superior gives her a chance to make a choice. Maria is given a job as a governess for a family of a man named Captain Von Trapp. Things go shall I say less than exceptional at the beginning between Maria and army of children Von Trapp has. As the long movie continues though things take a turn for the better for  Maria and the children but not so much for her and Von Trapp. After the other woman is taken care of, Von Trapp and Maria begin to see each other is a different light. A romantic light that is. They have an chemistry induced dance in the garden and everything changes! Soon Maria is Von Trapp's wife and the gang go on a musical rampage through the now Nazi controlled Austria.

Maria is played by the always entertaining and lovely Julie Andrews with bubbly enthusiasm almost completely throughout the film. How could the children NOT love her?! She is freaking Mary Poppins!
Captain Von Trapp is played by the equally entertaining and charming Christopher Plummer. This guy is very striking and has such a presence! Try to remember the first time you saw this film! Wow! Yeah, me too! lol!
Everyone should watch this movie at least once in their lifetime if not more. If your a sucker for music and romance then this is your kind of film! :)

Dobby's Discovery

A Dobby the House Elf fan fiction

Unbeknownst to anyone but Hagrid and Dobby there was a moment in Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts during the wrangling of the dragons for the Triwizard Tournament that ensured the giant and the house elf as close friends. One day as Dobby was gathering some herbs near the edge of the Forbidden Forrest he had quite a fright for a little one such as himself! Dobby was appointed this task by Blimplet, the fattest and unfortunately the self proclaimed boss of the Hogwarts Kitchen Staff. Of all the house elves in the kitchens Blimplet was the crossest. Dobby had the ability to collect the finest herbs and Blimplet made sure no one but Dobby would have this task. Well, he was minding his own business and enjoying the sunshine and choosing the best gillyweed he could find when a huge hand grabbed the back of his pillow case gown, pulling him high into the air as red hot fire nearly singed his nether regions!

10 Tv and Movie Couples: 6 and 5

SPOILERS TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SEEN THESE MOVIE OR TV SHOWS! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

6. Erik and Christine from The Phantom of the Opera

Oh, this poor, twisted, (but beautiful) Beauty and the Beast like tale is filled to the brim with murder, music, and romance. Erik is The Phantom of the Opera and Christine is his student in the art of music and he hopes love, but Erik has lived a tortured life filled with ridicule and malice, mostly because of his hideous appearance. The cruelty he endured in childhood has turned him into the merciless, passionate killer living within the bows a French opera house. His obsession over Christine a chorus girl he turns into the lead singer borders dangerously close to the point of the "if I can't have you no one will" territory especially when she falls for a childhood friend, Raoul. The rest of the story is mostly about which one of these suitors will win Christine's favor.

The 2006 version stars Gerard Butler as the Phantom and I found it quite hard to keep reminding myself that he was an insane murderer and it just wouldn't be right for Christine to accept him. Actually, down right dangerous of course! I like that in the end Erik proves that he still has some humanity within when he chooses not to kill Raoul and even lets Christine leave with him. Maybe it's the "if you love them let them go act". Well, unfortunately for Erik she didn't come back to him. Well, as far as we know she never did. This couple breaks up but while they were almost/sorta together it was enchanting and a little frightening to experience. Exactly what The Phantom of the Opera is suppose to be I'm sure.

5. Spock and Uhura from the new Star Trek films

The first Star Trek film is what brought my attention to the marvelous being that is Zachary Quinto. It was quite spooky in the beginning to watch his portrayal of Spock originally brought to life by the equally marvelous Leonard Nimoy. Out of all the cast in the new revived series he was the one who resembled the original actor best. The lovely Zoe Saldana plays Uhura in these films and she brought a delightful chemistry to the screen for Zachary's Spock. Spock endures too much pain during the first film and dare I say in the newest one as well for different reasons.

It is good to know that Uhura is there for him. Watching these two have lovers quarrels are quite telling and very funny. There is one problem in my opinion about this relationship...there isn't enough of it in the films. Especially the second one. We need more insight into Uhura. What does she do on her off time (besides going to bars of course)? What is some of her history? Maybe even see a complete date from beginning to end for the couple. Theirs is a very complicated yet simplistic relationship I feel. From what I've seen though Uhura seems to know Spock more than Spock knows himself. As the films continue maybe there will be more of this couple and more importantly more from Uhura to show us what exactly it is about her that made Spock fall hopelessly in love with her. Maybe I'm just yearning for that flashback of when they first fell for each other! lol! Hey, it's only logical. :)

10 Tv and Movie Couples: 8 and 7

SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THESE TV SHOWS AND MOVIES! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

8. The Doctor and Rose Tyler from Doctor Who

I could go on and on about this long running tv series. I could go on and on about this couple. Yes, they're a couple because when the head writer (Russell T. Davies at the time) gives their Doctor's companion an almost exact replica to smooch on then yeah. He intended them to be a couple. Oh, but I guess there are rules when it comes to giving the real Doctor everlasting happiness so this was the very best next thing...hmmmm.

Rose meets The Doctor when he's balding and has a seriously major chip on his shoulder (my Doctor, don't you just love Chris?!). A few episodes later they're acting like they can't survive without the other although never expressed very openly. Well, not yet. Soon, Rose changes in her robbing the cradle Doctor for the charming David Tennant.

For some the sparks really took flight after that so much so to the point that some fans have STILL never gotten over the fact these two are not on our screens anymore. Awww. He was our wounded, mad Timelord and she was our favorite shop girl with a heart. One heart for her and two for him but soon time began to run out for our star-crossed travelers.

The two were separated by two universes and failed "I love yous". It just couldn't end like that. It didn't of course. A few more appearances by Rose and playing marbles with the Earth then we truly, really had an ending for our cute couple. Two Doctors somehow came to be so The Doctor had a spare he could give to Rose and the first thing she does is kiss him (the spare). Our Dose or Roctor (terrible I know) became a reality! Well sorta. What did Russell T. Davies do to Doctor Who and it's fans?! Some of us have never recovered and the rest of Doctor Who seems bland and uninteresting after this. Don't hate on me peeps! Deep down inside you know it to be true!

7. Wolf and Virginia from The 10th Kingdom

I JUST LOVE THIS MINI-SERIES!!! Hmmm. What to say after that? lol! My family first saw this fairy-land inspired beauty when it first aired on NBC. Yes, we were one of the few who actually DID watch it when it originally aired! Sadly, very little of the viewing public watched and that is why we will never have a sequel. Well, not with the same original cast I'm sure. It has been 13 years! What we do have though is a treasure which I've seen many, many times over since that first viewing. I can unashamedly admit the reason for the repeat views is the relationship between Scott Cohen's Wolf (my fav character) and Virginia Lewis played by Kimberly Williams...before she was a Paisley.

Wolf is a man who is half wolf of course from a land which holds 9 kingdoms all based on the fairy-tales we all grew up on. Virginia Lewis is a young woman from New York who lives with her father in an apartment. Their worlds collide when a portal connecting these two places is formed in Central Park following a little mishap with an escaped from prison Evil Queen, a prince who has been turned into a dog, and orders given to Wolf to find this lost dog prince. What transpires is a grand adventure through the land of fairy-tales and magic to find a way back to Virginia's world. During this lovely and enchanting journey these two go from strangers to friends and finally to romantic partners. The process of this happening is quite funny but also tear jerking.

When you first meet Wolf it's easy to think: "What is wrong with this fellow?" He's totally obsessed with food, howls like there's no tomorrow, and scratches his face too much! lol! As the series progresses all his little antics make him so endearing though. Then there comes a scene where he's in a cage and is pleading with Virginia to stay with him. The look on his face and those puppy dog (wolf pup) eyes! I fell so hard and never recovered after that!

Virginia Lewis has some really hard truths to learn through the story. She's a spunky 20 something woman who thinks she has her life all planned out but underneath she's a hurt and frightened little girl still feeling the pain of when her mother left her when she was only seven years old. Through the crazy adventures and big revelations (there are some BIG moments of her) she becomes a braver person and learns she can move on from the pain. This girl has the power to make you cry and laugh along with her. One of my fav scenes is when she plays a shepherdess and sings We Will SHER You! :) Also, those beautiful and painful moments about her with The Evil Queen. So sad indeed.

These two people (Wolf and Virginia) together bring out the best in each other and make for such a romantic exciting adventure for the rest of us! If you haven't seen this series then fry up some bacon, swallow a magic bean, play some A Whiter Shade of Pale (down low of course), and make a certain wish to settle down and enjoy this magical ride! :)

10 Couples From TV and Movies : Numbers 10 and 9

SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THESE TV SHOWS OR MOVIES! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

This list isn't in any particular order. They're movies that I happen to own that have a little or more than a little romance in them. I'm going to share my opinion about each of these tv and movie couples and I might have another one of these list if this turns out well. Okay, here's my first 10 couple shout outs!

NUMBER 10

Ron and Herminone from Harry Potter

Oh, Ron and Hermione. What can be said about these two that probably hasn't been said over the 10 or so years this romance was splash across our movie screens. A muggle girl meets a pure-blood red head and sparks gradually fly. Well, it took them 6 years to actually get together and rightfully so since we are talking about children that literally grew up on the screen (characters and actors). In the books the relationship seemed to have a better flow because Ron's character wasn't as much of a buffoon as he was in the films. He had his moments especially in the the first few films but as the films progressed well lets just say it was because of hormones.

We had our Ron/Hermione shippers but we also had Harry/Hermione shippers too. Well, we also had Snape/Hermione shippers and all kinds of other shippers but the most prominent I do believe was the fans of Harry and Hermione and I don't blame them. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson did seem to have a chemistry and that dance scene in Deathly Hallows 1 which was probably meant to show they were just friends only fueled the speculative fire. Hey, the writers of the films changed so much of the storyline (especially after David Yates took the helm but that's a whole other story) that Herminone choosing Harry over Ron wouldn't totally be beyond the scope of their wondering finger tips! Of course we wouldn't have had these lovely scenes if that had been the plan from the beginning. Not to mention this!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I'm saying that sarcastically. For someone who's read the books the big kiss we've all been waiting for...well it was semi-satisfying even though it was completely rewritten in a different place and at a different time. We're talking about the movie couple though so I guess it was satisfying enough...I guess.

So, Ron and Hermione have a happy ending judging from the strange 19 years later scene. They have a boy and a girl and everything is right with the world. Ron seems to have turned into his father with the failing hairline but love isn't based on how much red hair one man has. May you both have billions of red headed children instilled with the most intelligence and tom-foolery the magical world has ever or will ever know!

NUMBER 9

Louise and Brad from Teen Witch

Okay, okay. I know. This movie is strange but I LOVE it! This magical, musical, romantic comedy has it own fair share of mockers. It's funny and sometimes (okay most of the time) doesn't make any sense but isn't that what it was suppose to be? Louise who's having the typical nerdy teen problems at school and at home discovers on her 16th birthday she's a witch. Okay, how'd this happen? Mom and Dad not telling something right? Well, Louise has this crush on Brad who's the typical football jock with a snobby girlfriend. New powers means Brad is MINE! So that's basically what happens. There's some chemistry between these two characters but I do wish that Brad was a little more intelligent. If he was that cheapo magic might not have worked so well or at the end when she gives up her magic and wants Brad to love her for being her I think he would've dumped her butt right then and there for trying to control him!

I mean look right there! He can't decide which girl he wants to be with?! It's not rocket science Brad! The girl you've been with all through high school ( even though she is a snob) or the new girlfriend who you recently thought of as just a nerd but now has some creepy control over you! Oh well, when I was kid I wanted them together and it's an entertaining movie for whenever you have a need to go back to the crazy 80s.

The Five Pennies Review Fathers and Daughters

I seriously just finished watching the great Danny Kaye in the film The Five Pennies for the very first time. Some will be shocked to hear this. I've read in many comments on YouTube clips of this wonderful movie that they grew up with Danny Kaye. Well, I've known about Danny Kaye for a while myself. Used to watch some of his work when I was younger (Hans Christian Anderson being the first and probably fav) but this film escaped me. For the past few days I've been on a Danny Kaye marathon and after watching some clips of The Five Pennies and read all those great comments about how the film was one of Danny's best I couldn't go any longer without giving it a try. Earlier I'd seen a clip from The Danny Kaye Show where the guest for that episode was Louis Armstrong. They sang the same song they sung in The Five Pennies. They were quite the pair but this review isn't going to be talking about them. In this review I'm going to talk about the relationship between Kaye's character and the two young ladies who played his daughter.

The Five Pennies is a film loosely based on the life of Red Nichols, a famous band leader from the 1920s. Kaye plays Mr. Nichols with his usual Kaye style along with the engaging music written by his real life wife Silvia Fine. Now I've seen a few Danny Kaye films and most of them have that comic flair that only Mr. Kaye can deliver but when he throws in the drama with the comedy I do believe that's where Kaye shines the best. This film has plenty of laughs and plenty of drama. In the film when Red's daughter Dorothy is born the musician is torn between making it big in his career and taking care of his little girl. One night his daughter doesn't want to go to sleep and it's 2am. Red and his band boys are playing poker so Red gets a little huffy with his daughter and yells at her to go back to bed. This upsets her and his band mates. The boys leave and we are subject to a beautiful song sung by Red to his daughter to try to get her to go to sleep. This is the moment when the film changed for me from being just another movie to something really special. I guess to get you to see it from my point of view I have to tell you a little about my own life.

For the first three years of my life I had a father. He was my stepfather and I loved him dearly. Well, from what I was told and from what I can barely remember. After my mother divorced him it was only my mother and I for about three years until my brother was born of course. Never again was I to have a stable father in my life. Men would come and go in my mother's life and mine but none of them stayed to be a part of our family. I think ever since then when I watch famous male movie stars of yesteryear I have a sort of fascination with them and wonder what it would be like if they would've been my father. Okay, I'll admit it. I guess I have daddy issues! lol! I don't know if you've ever heard about this but it's sort of like what a real daughter of a famous father once said about her own past. Clark Gable's and Loretta Young's secret love child Judy Lewis only met her famous father once in her life at 15. She never saw him again in real life only in the movies of course. She used to watch Gone With the Wind and cry when Gable was playing with his onscreen daughter. Lewis said she used to pretend that she was that girl because she herself never experience having Gable be there for her. I can empathize with her in a way. Father/daughter moments in films if they're done right make me start to ball my eyes out because I know I'll never experience anything like that in my life. Back to The Five Pennies. When Red sings The Five Pennies theme song to his daughter it is one of the most touching scenes in the whole film. I was okay at the beginning but somewhere in the middle of the song to his little one I turned into Niagara Falls. I started envy this little girl and also Danny Kaye's real life daughter Dena. She got to experience a father who could entertain her, love her, and teach her about life. Believe me, you people out there who have a father or had one all through your childhood, one who was good to you and cared for you and loved you dearly, you should be thankful. There a many of us out there that will NEVER know what that is like. EVER.

Later in the film the drama kicks in even more. Red seems to neglect his daughter by keeping her in boarding schools while him and his wife travel the country with his band. Even missing birthdays and holidays away from their little girl. When Dorthy is struck with polio, this seems to put things into sharp and painful perspective for Red and his wife. His daughter doesn't even want him around at first. So he quits his music and works in a shipyard, buys a home for his family, and takes care of Dorthy for years helping her to walk again.

When Dorthy is a teen and everyone else in Red's old band has moved on without him and became famous, Red's daughter wants him to go back into the music business because she can see how much he did for her and how much he desperately needs to go back. Of course they have to end the film with all his buddies coming in to a club to play with Red (even Louis Armstrong) and we also have daughter Dorthy giving her father a surprise. She can finally stand and walk on her own. Red's wife (played by the lovely Barbara Bel Geddes who you might recognize from a future role in Dallas) sings The Five Pennies theme song again and I'm a Niagara Falls mess one more time! You know Hans Christian Anderson may have to step aside as my favorite Danny Kaye film from now on. This film gave me the same feeling as when Colin Firth danced a father/daughter dance with Amanda Bynes at the end of What a Girl Wants. Yep, we always want what we cannot have right? Tootles.

OUAT Spin-Off: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland Trailer

Here's the trailer for the spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Hmmm. Judging from the trailer which is quite long, it could go either way: good or bad. What do you think?

Once Upon a Time: And Straight On 'Till Morning Review Part 2

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN ON FACEBOOK:

Once Upon a Time: And Straight On 'Till Morning Review Part 2:

It looks like a possibly broken nosed Hook is changing sides again. What else is new? Regina makes a sweet, little speech to Henry about loving him while Emma makes a funny face at her. Regina promises Henry she won't let him be alone. Unbeknownst to anyone at the moment this was a goodbye. *tear*

Back in Neverland, Hook wants to keep the Dark One's kid on board. He could come in handy sometime. Oh, will he now? We are introduced to The Lost Ones. A rag tag group of young men who I assume are this Neverland's version of the Lost Boys. Cute little children dressed in cute little animal costumes they are not. Quite dark and sorta good looking they are. Well, the leader anyway. Leader boy asks Hook if he's seen Bae. Hook wants to keep the boy of course but lets the group search the ship. Who is the masked Lost One? Could that be Peter Pan or someone else we already know? Guess we won't find this out until next season. They find nothing and Leader boy threatens Hook that his master will rip his shadow. I don't know if I'm suppose to laugh or be frightened. Sounds a little like both to me. Of course, Hook had hidden Bae.

In Storybrooke, Gold thinks he's being looted by the dwarfs. Grumpy lets Gold know that Blue Fairy figured out an antidote to the memory loss curse and the dwarfs are wanting to bring Sneezy's memory back. Gold is quite surprised that this certain plot point was solved so quickly. Good going Gold, voicing our opinions on this crazy time passer. Ugh. What was the point of Lacey anyway? Gold doesn't understand why they want to wake their friend up just for him to find out he's going to die. Grumpy asked the fairy to make another dose for Gold to turn Lacey back to Belle. He's not quite sure he wants to do that for the same reason above. Great little speech there Grumpy:"Don't let her die as Lacey." Oh please, don't let that happen. Go Grumpy, who's still more like Dreamy isn't he?

Meanwhile back on Hook's ship in Neverland, Bae is growing his sea legs. Bae gets a chance at ship driver's ed with instructor Hook by his side. Hmmm. A teen driving Hook's ship. Watch out, Bae! Oh, well. Guess we won't have The Little Mermaid next year.
We are subject to some Hook back story about how his father abandoned him too. Awww. Lost Boys unite! Bae actually tells Hook his father is The Dark One because of Hook telling his story. Oh, come on Bae! I love ya but sometimes you are too trusting! Why in the world would Bae trust Hook enough to tell him about the only thing that could kill his father?! Boy, he is your father! This guy has a hook on his hand and is a pirate. Are you tripping?! Just enough info for Hook to emo more! Grand!

Back in Storybrooke, Hook and Charming find the Bores. Hook fights Greg and grabs a magic bean from him. Charming runs after Tomorrow. The Bores run away but Hook has a bean which he seems to place in his pouch.

Emma and Regina are in the diamond mine at the trigger diamond. Once the diamond stops glowing the real destruction will begin. Basically, Regina says slowing down the diamond will probably kill her. Emma now knows the speech she said earlier to Henry was goodbye. Regina wants to go out as herself not as The Evil Queen. THIS was one of the best moments of the night! Did you really think this show was going to let go of the best character (besides Gold) they got? Great acting though and one of the sole reasons I continue to watch! Regina is the man! Just before she begins whatever she doing to slow it down, Emma was going to say something else! Will we ever hear what it was? I hope so!

Gold seems to want to change Lacey back to Belle when Lacey tries to use Bae's shawl to wipe up some spilled booze. Oookay. He fixes broken Chip with magic. Well, if it was that easy we all wouldn't have been so distraught about it earlier. lol! Lacey drinks and now she's Belle. How easy? Next year their story line better be better! She's woken up to have another emo moment. Let's share the pain all around!

Henry shines when Emma tells him Regina is going to sacrifice herself so the others can hop a ride on that magic bean! He starts to sound like a Lilo and Stitch movie! "We don't leave family behind!" Go Henry! Snow comes up with the bright idea to throw the diamond into the bean portal. Did we not learn anything about that wraith?! Sucking the wraith down the hole made Fairy Tale land not so happy. Remember Philip, people! So glad it did NOT end like that! Snow makes a speech to her daughter how she should have chosen the harder path when dealing with Cora. I do agree with her on this point. Maybe she wouldn't have a blackening heart if she went that way. "...cause if we don't we'll be building a future on Regina's blood." Great line! Hook tries to skip out on the deal and take the bean with him. Emma tries to convince him to stay and tells him Henry is Bae's son. MORE Emo Hook!

In Neverland, Bae finds out about Hook and Milah. He thinks Hook killed his mother but learns instead that he was her lover. Bae seems more upset that Hook betrayed him than about the fact his father killed his mother. Hmmm. I thought adult Bae didn't know that but here we have him learning it from Hook when he was a kid. Okay, poor confused Bae who wants to just get away from Hook. Even the Lost Ones look better to him now. Great acting boy!

The Charmings go back to Regina and Henry says Regina is a hero because she's willing to die to save them. Aww. Will this be changing Regina for good? I wish! Only problem though is Hook still has the bean. Why doesn't that surprise me? Hook is on his ship with the pretty bean. Hmm. I wonder what would happen if you ate a magical bean? Could make magic bean casserole with a few of them. They might taste good for a moment...until a magic portal forms inside your stomach. Talk about a universal meal! I'm so sorry.

Hook gives a disappointed Bae to The Lost Ones. What's your problem Bae? You said you wanted to go to them earlier? Emo Hook again.

Another sweet moment between Henry and Regina. She doesn't think she can hold it off any longer. Also, Emma calls Snow and Charming mom and dad. Was that the first time? Emma teams up with Regina and gives her good magic a try! This does the trick! Yay! Gold walks out of his shop like,"Oh so we're not going to die. Okay." You slacker! Storybrooke is saved...but where is Henry?! Yep, the Bores have him! So now Henry is important again but for what reason? Of course the group don't get there in time before Henry, Greg, and Tomorrow jump into the bean portal! Well, kid your wish came true! You going to another world! Hope you enjoy yourself! Rumps has to stick his nose in the biz now that it involve Henry. No bean portal, now way of getting to Henry. Rumps seems slightly happy about the situation. Grrr. Hook returns to help! Horray! Show can't end without more Emo Hook! He wants to change motives. They now have a magic bean and a pirate ship! Everyone ready to go! Hook and Gold together on board. This should be interesting. For some weird reason Gold wants Belle to stay behind. Maybe because now that he thinks Bae is dead and Belle staying in Storybrooke he can go after Henry! Don't you dare do that! Also, is it just me or is Rumbelle becoming a little annoying at the moment? As much as I hate to say this maybe a little break from the two would be best.

Well, well, we find out Bae lands right back in fairy tale land where and conveniently right where Philip, Aurora, and Mulan are at. See, he won't die, Emma! lol!

The gang find out Henry was taken to Neverland and at Neverland Bae has just landed on shore with The Lost Ones. Bae is not the one this mysterious Shadow/PeterMan wants. It's actually his son, Henry?!!! What is that all about? Will Henry be meeting a child Bae? Will Rumps meet up with his little son again? What will it be like to see Emma with child Bae? The funniest thing might be not one but TWO Emo Hooks! Imagine two Hooks fighting each other! Better yet, Hook told Gold he's given up on killing him but Neverland Hook is still after him. That's going to cause some huge misunderstandings! Biggest question of all. Why does Peter Pan want Henry?! Maybe all this questions will be answered next season! Also, we have a spin-off coming to our screens! Once Upon a Time in Wonderland! Hope this means we'll have more Jefferson! Goodnight Storybrooke, for now.

Once Upon a Time: And Straight On 'Till Morning Review Part 1

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN IN FACEBOOK:

Once Upon a Time: And Straight On 'Till Morning Review Part 1 (Part 2 later):

Well, we are here at the finale! Regina shines...sorta literally, Emma shows she really IS The Princess of Power, more pain and confusion for Rumps, Belle is back but not with Rumps for long, Henry is important again, and why did Rumbelle become slightly annoying there for a moment? Oh, and everyone's favorite kid FINALLY gets his dream come true and goes down the hole! So, let's kick this pirate ship into overdrive, hug an emo Hook, and wave goodbye to Belle (and the show until next season)! In the seeming words of Rumples,"So long sweet cakes! NOW, Henry is mine! Muwahahaha!"

The episode begins with Emo Hook looking at a pic of his lost love Milah. Smee has some pretty cheesy lines about how Hook WILL have his revenge. Sometimes I just want to grab that red toboggan off of his head and throw it into the sea! The conversation quickly goes to the wet, little boy they just rescued. Doesn't take Smee long to get to the boy being The Dark One's kid. Well, I guess Smee's smarter than we take him for. Hmmm. When Hook finally gets the name out of the boy he gives Smee a look. Oh, now this is interesting! Will he use the boy to get to The Dark One or will he end up loving the boy because he's his lost love's son? Oh what a complicating life we weave, writers! FINALLY, Hook may have more substance than just "I want to kill The Dark One!" Oh, and have I mentioned how much I love little Bae in this one yet?

Yo ho, Yo ho! A pirate's life for Bae! Show comes on and seems like nothing much in the background. Could that be Neverland? Hmmm.

Oh, little Henry is rope swinging near some jagged rocks (who built this playground) while Granny sits nearby and another emo watches! Rumps tries to kill Henry by making the rope slowly break so he'll land on some rocks! Oh, come on old man! Forget this "he will be your undoing" crap and go play with your grandson! Well, I guess this is as close as The Dark One ever gets to playing with his family. Dysfunctional indeed! Ugh! Yay! Charming to the rescue once again! Least Henry has one decent grandfather! Bad news for Henry and Rumps! Emma talks to Henry and Charming and Snow to Rumpy. Poor Rumps, just gained his son only to lose him again through another portal. I was expecting to see Rumpy go all medieval on Tomorrow. Wouldn't it be awesome to see Rumpy change into The Dark One and kick some...well you know! Hey, speaking of old Dark One when and if Rumpy ever goes through a portal will he turn back into The Dark One? Especially if he ever returns to Fairytale Land? That would be quite awesome! Anyway, Rumpy instead blames himself and its a heartbreaking moment handled quite nicely by Robert Carlyle. Of course he gives up though and doesn't care about the trigger diamond that Tomorrow and Greg have might kill everyone. Bae's dead and who cares anymore! Should we have expected more from him? Ugh.

In the diamond mines, the Bores and Hooky Babe are looking for a pick axe to activate the diamond. Hook finally sees that these two are blindly following some kook and want to kill everybody. Yeah, Hook these people are more Loony Tunes than you are. Time to switch those beautiful loyalties of yours again and motives this time! Hmmm.

Looks like Regina has recovered quite quickly from that shock therapy of last episode. Guess this is thanks to Blue Fairy. Now back to her stylish, evil self right? Maybe not...a least for now. In comes Henry and he hugs his mom (Regina). Finally, some love for Regina even though it still irks me she hasn't told Henry she erased some of his memories a few episodes back. Ugh! Some shaky camera moves and falling things signal Regina that the trigger has been activated and they're all going to kick the bucket. All except Henry because he was born in this world. Emma and Regina argue about it but Henry stops them in time for Hook to make his appearance. Good right hook, Charming! I'm really liking him today. Don't think I've ever said that before!

Once Upon a Time: Second Star to the Right Review Part 2:

This soapy triangle can take a back seat to this mysterious home office that is mentioned. So these two work for someone and whoever this person is will probably be much more interesting than Tomorrow and Greg. At least I'm hoping this will be true. In the torture chamber, Hook is having a little conversation with a pre-fried Regina. Loyalties are so convoluted on this show aren't they? Dare I say Hook and Regina have a little chemistry together? Well, it seems the "where's my father" storyline is going to take a back seat to taking magic out of the world. Poor naive Regina doesn't know about shock therapy/torture. She's going to get a first hand experience with that. Was this suppose to be payback for all the evil things she's done to people? Did this shock her back to being Regina or just to being more devious and clever? We'll see later won't we? Why do I feel sorry for her? Guess it all comes down to the incredible character and the actress who plays her! I wonder how many times she's shocked in this episode?

Back in Victorian London, Wendy's parents find out she's been hiding a boy in the nursery. Do they scold her and kick the dirty boy out of the house? No, they welcome him into their home as their third son. Remember they already have John and Michael. If only it could be so easy for the real orphans of the world.

Emma is suspecting Tomorrow of kidnapping Regina and Bae Smoker still doesn't want to believe it. He's like,"Hey, stop dissing on my woman. She gives me smokes!"

Wendy talks of a magical shadow and little Bae is like, "Shut up girl! Magic comes with a price! This thing is straight up evil. Don't you go messing around with it again!" She promises along with her curious brothers but that quickly flies out the window so to speak.

Snow and David Charming visit Golden Lace for some answers. Gold tells boozer Belle to leave. All he has this time is a bottle of tears. Well, it helps more than you would think though. With a tear from Snow added to Regina's tears now Snow can feel whatever Regina is feeling at the moment. This was a great way to show how Regina feels when she's not tortured but that doesn't come across. All we get is Snow feeling those little shocks she's getting.

Lacey finds out Gold can do magic through this little venture. Which leads to her wanting to become immortal with Gold. Not liking Lacey even more now!

Wendy quickly breaks her promise and goes with The Shadow only to return and Bae finds out that Neverland is not a happy place and the children there are treated like slaves.

Tomorrow acts like she doesn't know anything about Regina but this doesn't stop Emma. Regina later learns the boring couple are here to not steal magic but destroy it. Over at Charming Central Snow has felt Regina's feelings and she mentions that she smelled sardines which triggers Emma into thinking maybe she's at the Storybrooke Cannery. Side note: All this stuff with docks and sea side stuff. I'm surprised The Little Mermaid hasn't been brought up in the town yet. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone run into Granny's Diner saying they've seen a mermaid by the docks? That would rock!

The Charmings and Bae Smoker all team up at the Cannery to find Regina and the baddies. They get spotted and the Bores are packing up to leave. Greg ups the tension trying to get out of Regina the whereabouts of his father. I like how Regina reveals that Greg's father is dead. She so weary, messed up, and crying by now and I'm pretty sure what she says to Greg still isn't true. The girl has some strength! Poor Regina, she still gets another blow from Freaky boy though! Ugh! Who else wants to see Regina get some revenge on this guy sooo badly?! I DOOO!

Back in Victorian London Bae and the Darlings plan a way to keep The Shadow away but it ends up Bae gives his own self to The Shadow to save the Darlings. Can anyone else see why I love little Bae better than big Bae? So sweet, kind, innocent and caring. All the qualities I wish his father would show more of. He's got to have got that from somewhere and I don't believe it came from Milah. We get a Harry Potter broom stick like ride through London with Bae and the Shadow! Big Ben is set to 8:15. Oh, the symbolism. Off to Neverland Bae!

Gosh! Cool it Freaky Boy! Regina should be Loony Tunes by now with how many times Greg went to town with the sparkage! Grrrr! Yay! Prince Charming to the rescue! Make Freaky Boy run! Charming and Snow rescues Regina and Greg is out of there! You little coward! Snow wants to help Regina. Yes, lets do that! Please!

Bae Smoker gets a shock of his own that yes it IS his fiancee and Greg behind of this messed up craziness! Don't you love being betrayed Neal? Hehe! Now you can get back to Emma! Glorious cat fight ensues between Emma and Tomorrow! Really, it was quite good! In this corner Magical Emma Princess of Power and in this corner girl with a crazy name! Can't forget that Tomorrow shot Bae!Guess that's two up for her because she pulls out bean power and green magical toilet bowl dreams lie in store for Bae Smoker! Wooo boy! Looks like Emma may be the one to go again as she grabs hold of a pipe that is falling into the portal. Bae saves her and everything seems fine for a few seconds until the floorboards they're standing on break loose! Now we have a familiar scene. Someone holding onto Bae trying to stop him from leaving. Emma is afraid if he falls into the hole he'll die because he's shot. Like no one else will be there to help him in the other world, Emma? How do you know? They share their I Love Yous and Bae gord down the hole...again! Can't Emma ever get a break? Yeah, sure. A Kit Kat break!

Bae and Shadow boy arrives in Neverland but Bae is able to break free of the Shadow and falls in the sea. He is rescued by who else? None other than Captain Sparrow wannabe Hookie Babe! This will be interesting to see how THIS relationship goes! Back in Storybrooke a heartbroken Emma has a sweet moment with Daddy Charming and worries about how she is going to tell Henry about his father. Awwww. Greg is devestated about his father. Oh I see! See how all this has to do with fathers and sons this year? Bae and Henry, Gold and Bae, Gold and Henry, Greg and his dad, and Emma and Charming. Awwww. This year's finale should have ended on Father's Day not Mother's Day! The black diamond that Greg and Tomorrow stole from Regina is a trigger to blow up Storybrooke! Great another end of the world scenario on a tv series. Never seen that before! On to the season finale!

Once Upon a Time: Second Star to the Right Review Part 1

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN ON FACEBOOK. I'm trying to see if it can post here. Please be patient with me.

Okay, peeps. I'm going to write a review here for the finale of ABC's Once Upon a Time. SPOILERS for anyone who has not seen this show or these last episodes. You have been warned...

I have a blog called Dobby's Dungeon (where I used to write these reviews) and recently it has been rather dormant because of the freezing problems I've been having on that site. I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for these reviews. Maybe this will sorta make up for that. Also planning to write reviews of the other episodes later down the road if this works out. This time though I will be writing about the last two episodes of this season, Second Star to the Right and Straight on 'Till Morning. This review will be for Second Star to the Right.

One more warning before we begin. These reviews might be kind of long because...1. of the reasons mentioned above, 2. I tend to babble on about shows I like but that doesn't mean it is always going to be sunshine and roses. I WILL complain about things I DON'T like about the episode. I want the show to improve as we go along, not get worse, and 3. it's the freaking season finale! Okay, if anyone is still with me. Let's truly begin!

(Part 1 review Part 2 will come later)

ABC's Once Upon a Time: Second Star to the Right Review PART 1:

Well, well, we finally get back to my fav actor who plays Bae (read my other reviews and you'll see why I really don't like adult Bae) and we FINALLY find out where Bae went when he fell down his very first magical, green portal! The first time I saw this part I thought wow he's grown too! Just like little Snow who shot up like a bean stalk in her return to the series. His voice has changed as well. Unlike some of the awkwardness this caused with Bailey Madison's return in where she was supposed to be younger than her first appearance, Dylan Schmid's growth didn't bother me so much. Especially, since we are going forward in the timeline and later we are shown that six months have gone by. Boys his age can grow fast in six months. Even when there's not much food around...I guess. Ah, London, England in Victorian days. This so is not our world is it? Remember when Emma asked adult Bae how he knew Hook and he said this world wasn't the first place he visited? Well, is that a mistake on the writers' parts or has all those cigarettes he seemed to have smoked by then affected his memories? Sorry, I just don't like the guy.

Ah, London, England, a lifetime of hanging with Tramp from Lady and the Tramp before he finds Lady, trying to find his way through all that fog, and avoiding sewage dumps falling from high windows. Wait, maybe those last two are in the wrong time period. My bad.

Show comes on with the clock tower in the forest which says 8:15 on it. Wait, that's Big Ben! How sneaky guys!

So, a life of growing up on the streets of London and scavenging for food is better than a life in a land of magic where your father could give you anything you want? He could have easily been Oliver Twist! Knowing how that story ends it wouldn't be such a bad thing! No good ole Charles Dickens this time. Only an open (window) invitation to FOOD! Well, he meets Nana first, a dog so big he could have eaten Lady! At least Wendy is nicer than her big pup. Wow, really nice. Hey, dirty boy have all our food! lol!

In Storybrooke, Tomorrow (I will be calling Tamara this because her name GETS ON MY LAST NERVE! She makes me think of little orphan Annie singing Tomorrow so that is what she'll be!) is pretending like she's going on a run in the forest! Yes, good for you. Get off the screen. Bae Smoker stops wallowing in bed because he hears Pops and his bar fly torturing Frankie outside. Now that bar fly (Lacey) is getting her kicks from watching Rumpy's bad side I guess if anyone just looks at bar fly wrong they get to smell Rump's sole. Hehe. Don't really like Frankie much either. Bae Smoker's got one thing going for him. He's able to stop his father from doing something stupid. Rumps is really acting quite strange recently. He just got his son back and he's spending all his time with bar fly? I kind of agree with Bae on this one. Trust me, this is hard for me to say because I am a RumBelle fan. So Bae is only here for Henry. Not what Rumps wants to hear. Grrr. Get over it Rumps. Henry is your grandson. You should be glad he'll be your undoing, no matter what that means!

Well, family Charming has found out that Regina has kept a few beans for herself and now she missing. When Emma says Gold is too busy to have done something to Regina because he's too busy with his new/old girlfriend boy was that an understatement. The guy seems like he wants to do nothing but play with is girlie. Ugh. As much as I love those two in the last two episodes they seem to annoy me.

Tomorrow and Greg are getting Regina ready for something while talking about magic beans and diamonds. Throw in a little jealousy in there and we have a soap opera I don't care too much for. Greg was much better when he had a strange relationship with Regina. Now this triangle has ruined my interest in him. I like the actor who plays him though. Used to watch a show he starred in called Freakylinks. It lasted only one season but it's very good. You should check it out sometime.

Once Upon a Time: Manhattan Review!

Oh my gosh! What an episode! Big revelations galore! Bae turned out to be who I guessed he was. Who else was thinking the same thing? Oh probably about all of us right? lol! Well, last review I was also thinking he could be Greg Mendell because you know how this show loves to twist us around. Cora with a new (and better) hairdo! She looks good in this world's style! Watch out Regina she's taking your place! NOT! No one can take Queenie's place can they? Our three Wheel of Fortune contestants play for the prize! A brand new (well actually really old) dagger! Who will win? My bets on Regina! :D Pre-Ogre wars Rumpy and why oh WHY did he have to do THAT do himself?!! "The seer made me do it!" Oh Rumpy! Oh, and a nose grabbing Bae-by! Hating the speculation that Bae may not be Rumpy's son (please don't let that be true!). Mendell says, "My cell phone gonna bring all the paps to the yard and magiic? Well, we have to charge!" We're one big dysfunctional family all in one small NYC apartment. Rumpy: "Let's get rid of the runt!" Wow! Let's dig in!

FAIRY TALE LAND PAST

Awwwww. Look a the weedle Bae-by!

We're back with Pre-Dark One Rumpy and his wife Milah. Wow, this is the nicest they've ever been to each other. Maybe just maybe Milah really did love Rumples once upon a time. Rumpy is going to fight in the ogre wars and he's sooo happy and so is Milah. That war is gonna be all roses and daisies and when he comes back they'll start their family. Don't you just want to smile forever? Well, Rumpy gets a wake up call when he arrives at the camp in his nice soldier uniform. He looks gooood! Okay, enough of that. Sarge wants Rumps to look after a big crate or something.warning to be wary of the beast inside. Oh we get it. You should have never dealt with this beast Rumpy! He finds out this beast is just a little girl with one wacked out stitch over her face. Man, she looks like she just left a Within Temptation video! She has eyes in her hands! That junk is way too much Illuminati for me! She claims she wants some water. Just give her the water and get out of there Rumpy! The little goth tells him Milah is already pregnant. My mom and yes I did too had a feeling that Rumpy wasn't the father right there for some reason. I soo hope that's not true but with this show you never know and with how Milah can be. Ugh.
Anyway, Rumps knows he's going to be a father but the seer also tells him he will leave Bae fatherless. So Rumpy jumps to the conclusion that means he's going to die in battle. So later he intentionally breaks his own leg with a mallet so he won't have to go to war! Oh my! Why did it have to be like this? Well, if you look at it in a certain way you gotta have some guts to take a mallet to the leg even if it's of your own doing! He sure loves his boy! *twitches* Also  doesn't Rumpy as the Dark One use magic to heal his limp? He doesn't use magic when he's Mr. Gold to get rid of the limp. Maybe that's his way of trying to change. Sort of a reminder of what he's done. He thinks he did it for Bae. Oh well. Milah is shocked that he would go to such a length to get out of the war. Of course our Rumpy says a seer made him do it but Milah is already wanting to get away from him. She gives him the Bae-by and we have one of the most adorable moments in the whole series. Little Bae-by grabbing his father's nose! Who else said awwww? Later a Dark One Rumpy faces the seer girl again who has grown up now. He takes her power because he thinks it will help in his search for Bae and the seer tells him the "young boy will be your undoing." Of course back then Rumpy simply says he'll have to kill him. To quote an old tv show called Magnum P.I. I know what you're thinking. This has GOT to be Henry right? Well, what if Bae does go back to Storybrooke with them? What will happen when he crosses the borderline? We don't know that yet. Will he simply forget who he is or will magic turn him back into little Bae like Rumps wanted to do to him? If the latter happens then there will be two young boys right? I love this show. It gives you answers while posing more questions! :D

STORYBROOKE

We finally have all three of our villains together on the screen and boy do they look goood! Cora is looking more like her daughter now with the fancy power suit and pretty hair. What's up with his girl?! Me thinks she wants to be her daughter. Maybe this is where all that vanity stuff comes in from the original Snow While tale. Cora wants to be the fairest of them all! Watch out Regina! Speaking of Regina she sure is playing the good or should that be bad little daughter to a "t". Almost too good to be true to me. She only cares about Henry though so wherever the tables turn when it involves Henry is where she'll go eventually in my opinion.

Then there's Hook with his little I want revenge on Rumpy pouting. I don't blame Cora knocking him out after him stating the oh so obvious point that what Regina and Cora find in Belle's library is a map to the dagger. You need to have another reason to be here Hook! Oh and Greg Mendell please stop trying to make this town into a new article for your Freaky Links website (actor Ethan Embry from the series Freaky Links plays Mendell. Cool show, you should look it up).

MANHATTAN

Now for the best part of the whole episode! Gold takes his first step onto Manhattan soil to find his Bae! What most fans of this guy have been waiting much too long to see and it is finally here! Let's do a little dance, make a little love, and get down tonight! Later Emma is so lucky to guess the right buzzard button to an apartment is Bae because it only had an address number and not his name! Okay, it really could have been vacant like Rumpy said but not on this show! She's right of course because when she makes a dumb ploy to open the door he must have recognized her voice because he skips out. Emma is on his heels, tackles  him and...well beans and potatoes! It's Neal Casidy!!! Let's jump for joy! Well, a little jump. I still don't like the actor playing Bae. Kind of want Rumpy to change him back to a 14 year old .Sometimes this guy's voice is so gravelly that it's hard to understand what he's saying. Oh well. Gotta except it now. Emma is angry ant thinks he knew she was the chosen one back when they were together. Neal wants to talk somewhere more private. While Emma is singing It's a Small World After All with Neal, Rumps and Henry are doing the hot dog thing. Don't they make the cutest little grandfather and grandson ever?! Henry encourages Rumpy to be more optimistic about meeting Bae. Back in a bar with Emma and Neal/Bae their conversation isn't going as well. Neal tells her that August Booth told him to stay away from her. We get a flashback to please all the fans who were wondering what was in the box Booth showed Bae. It was the typewriter with the words "I know you're Baelfire" Everyone who guessed that pat yourselves on the back! Good job! Emma is still hurt, angry and a little selfish when she claims nothing good came out of their relationship! Of course it did! HENRY!

Emma tells Rumps that she didn't catch up with his son. Even a talk with Snow couldn't change her mind.. Big mistake! Doesn't really matter because when the trio search Neal/Bae's apartment Emma lets the cat out of the bag by holding a dream catcher too long. Henry is told to go to the bathroom because there's gonna be a match in this room tonight! In this corner a former bails bondswoman and the chosen one Emma and in this corner a really peed off, non-magical, old, lame guy! Yeah, Emma's sooo afraid! No need to fear because this is interupted when Bae busts through the door to a shocked and hurt Rumpy's surprise! Bae couldn't let Rumpy hurt Emma because he knows what his father does to people who don't live up to their deals. Suddenly Henry's out of the bathroom asking mom what is going on and now we have a fairy tale Jerry Springer! Let's watch this train wreak! Ooo boy! Forget about everybody else. Now it's all about Henry finding out Daddy wasn't a hunky fireman but really a guy who sounds like he's smoked a whole barrel of cigarettes in one second. Oh hello Henry! Daddy didn't put out fires. He probably started some by carelessly tossing his millionth cig. Your father is the son of The Dark One and your mother reminds you of your stepmother! Oh Henry how could you say that! I think he was trying to dish out a little pain there as well! Rumpy has his three minute talk with Bae which basically ends with Bae going talk to hand because the ears ain't listening. Bae has a little tale with his new found son Henry out on the fire escape because those other two in the apartment suck now and we're the cool ones right Bae and Harry? Rumps looks at the two of them with the strangest expression on his face. Don't be thinking about doing away with your grandson Rumpy! If you want to go back to your magical mafia ways go home and stuff Mendell in a trunk!

U.S promo:

Why do we have to wait AGAIN for two more weeks before the next Once? What is it this time? Oh, it's the Oscars. Ugh. If someone from Once was there it would make up for the wait a little I guess. I'd rather watch Once though. Those people always pick the dullest movies to award! I want to see some real quality action from a real movie star on a tv show (Robert Carlyle)! Hook better not kill him! Actually I think Henry will be doing the honors by the end of it all. Tootles!

Once Upon a Time: Tiny Review!

Okay, this review will be a little different in length wise at least. Well, I hope so. I'm not going to go through every detail. Don't have much time to do that today. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it because I most certainly did. I do believe it was a good one to have after so many weeks of nothing. L

We're back from the hiatus and what we get are giants, evil twin brothers, a Jack who's actually a girl (oh my gosh how novelty!), shawl worries, oh a whole bunch of worries in general, Cora nowhere to be seen, a seemingly evil Regina again (WHY?!), and a frightened Belle which is already becoming too annoying for my taste. :( Let's try not to be stepped on as we travel through another episode of Once Upon a Time.

FAIRYTALE LAND PAST

We are back with Anton the giant from the episode Tallahassee played by Jorge Garcia. This episode is appropriately named Tiny because that's what Anton actually is to his family of brothers. He's the tinniest giant. Awww. Poor him. Not only that he gets bullied because of it. So this is Once's attempt at showing what bullying a person could cause. For Anton it's climbing down the beanstalk and making friends with the enemies: the humans. Of course to two he meets just happens to be some the worst examples he could have met. He meets David/Charming's evil twin brother James and surprise, surprise...Jack! Jackeline that is. She claims she's killed a Jabberwokky from Wonderland I presume so that means she's Alice right? That would be sad if she is knowing how she turns out in this episode. Then again it would also explain why Jefferson/Mad Hatter and his daughter are alone. Yes, I'm already speculating that if she was Alice then she is probably the mother of Jefferson's daughter. If this is true we might be seeing more of possible Jackeline "Alice" or Alice Jackeline in the foreseeable future or would that be past? Confusing. Well, anyway. These two take advantage of poor Anton by using his trusting nature to find out about the supply of beans and treasure in his kingdom. Of course they follow Anton home and kill all his brothers including the leader Arlo but Arlo gets the last laugh so to speak because he kills Jack with the same poison sword that she just stabbed him with. Evil James could really care less because he's just killed all the other giants with his army and leaves Jack to her death. What a sweet boyfriend you have Jack! Guess it's true. No honor among thieves! The only giant left alive is Anton of course who Emma meets later on down the road after Jack is nothing but bones but that poison sword hasn't lost any of it's power to intimidate if you remember.

STORYBROOKE

Now back in Storybrooke, Snow and David/Charming, with the help of an ever wise cracking Hook discover that Cora has brought along another passenger on Hook's ship. Anton was shrunk to human size and now has to deal with coming face to face with a guy who looks exactly like the one who killed his family. A little fighting on board until Snow awesomeness cuts that out. Sometime later Hook and Regina (who has suddenly become evil again...well maybe. I'm not so sure about this) talk about how Anton wanted to kill David. This gives our Regina a little idea.

While Anton is sitting alone on a rock somewhere Regina approaches him and gives him a bit of mushroom from Wonderland. Same kind of mushroom that Jack gave him to make him small in the past. Anton should know better right? Well, this makes him big and of course it's STORYBROOKE SMASHING TIME! Oh yeah! Snow and Charming try to talk him out of this. Charming explains to him that he isn't who Anton thinks he is. That was his evil twin. Now this show does sound like a soap opera! My evil twin did it! They even tell him that they're Emma's parents but since Emma is out of town on the road with Mr. Gold and Henry to find Bae, Anton thinks it's best just to sit on David for good measure. Snow saves the day again by pushing David out of the way. The mushroom wares off of Anton and now there's a big hole in town with a little guy hanging on a pipe. Of course it's time to prove that Charming is a good guy and he rescues Anton and everything is alright again. (side note) There was one bit while they were running from giant Anton where Leroy (Grumpy) talks about how confusing David/James/Charming is at the moment! Funny scene! Anyone else agree with Grumpy about the complicating names on this show! lol!

BELLE BEING DRUGGED

Wow. I did not like this moment between Ruby and Belle. I can understand that Belle doesn't know who she is and she's seen some strange stuff but every person she talks to it ends up in a hectic, crappy mess. Can't she just have a normal conversation for once. Also, why is Regina's nurse who held Belle captive drugging her so much?! I'm sure Regina and/or Cora have a hand in that. Also, later Greg Mendel talks to her and they both confirm they saw magic so this calms Belle and now someone can have a conversation with her but why Mendel. They better not place these two together. Ugh!

GREG MENDEL

Speaking of this guy, there is a possibility he could be Bae right? Next time's episode could be another twist to this show. The guy Emma meets in Manhattan may be Cassidy but that doesn't really mean he's Bae. As much as I like the possibility that Henry could be Rumples' grandson I really don't like the actor who plays Neal Cassidy. This Greg Mendel guy has a more expressive face to me and having him be Bae could work as well in my opinion. Whichever way it goes I wouldn't really mind.

REGINA

Okay, on the subject of Regina. Is it just me or is Regina giving out a slight Snape vibe? By Snape vibe I mean a double agent vibe. I know she gave Anton that mushroom so he could kill David but that could somehow be explained down the road I'm sure and it would be more interesting to me if Regina was playing them than having two evil queens and a pirate as our enemies this season. One evil queen is enough. Come on, one of those gals have got to be on the good side.

GOLD/EMMA/HENRY

Now, last but most certainly not least is the best thing about this whole episode. The journey to find Bae finally begins in this episode but we don't get too far. Still, it's very revealing and interesting to watch Rumples start out like he's going to be in control of this situation and then the situation takes him for a loop. By the time the three are at the airport things have turned completely around. Emma and Henry are used to the outside world but Gold is completely out of his element and freaking out.

He even has some snide remarks to Henry he's so afraid. Handing over Bae's shawl for a few seconds at the metal detector frightens the heck out of him. It's interesting how Emma is able to calm him claiming she won't let him lose his memories. It's really a strange moment. We don't really know what is going on with Gold. Even though it appears he remembers who he is once the shawl is back on him something clearly is wrong. Not until he shuts himself in a bathroom stall do we see just how angry this man is with everything around him. Let's see here. Belle isn't Belle right now, he's out is a strange world, has no idea how Bae will react if and when he meets him, and now he discovers he's lost his magic. Well, he finds that last bit out after a paper towel dispenser takes a well deserve beating. Don't you hate those towel dispensers! Later while on the plane (a plane on a show with LOST writers, yeah we get it) Emma notices Rumpy's bandaged hand and we are left with a seemingly defeated Rumples looking every so much like the lost little spinner he once was.

Wow! Next times scenes look too good to be true. This is what I've been waiting for for a long time! The moment when Bae is finally revealed or at least we hope so. Most fans think he's going to be Neal Cassidy. We have to wait and see. I've also seen some cute pictures for next time. Might post them here for anyone who doesn't care to be a little spoiled. I think we're all going to see what happened to Rumples during the Ogre wars. Maybe we'll see what caused the limp. Also, the red haired lady with the stitches across her face. I have bad feeling this is Ariel the little Mermaid. Now that would be an interesting twist. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see but for now...tootles! :)
